استبقت الرئاسة العامة لشؤون الحرمين الشريفين موسم العمرة في شهر رمضان المقبل، بإنشاء عدد من دورات المياه على أطراف الساحات الخارجية للحرم، لخدمة الزوار، وتخفيف الضغط على الدورات المستخدمة، على أن تشغل جميعا قبل دخول موسم رمضان.
وأوضح وكيل إدارة المشاريع برئاسة الحرمين، المهندس محمد الوقداني أن الرئاسة أولت اهتماما خاصا بدورات المياه، مشيرا إلى أنها وضعت عدة مجمعات لدورات المياه في أماكن مختلفة، بحيث تكون مشاهدة ومرئية للزوار والمعتمرين الذين لا يجيدون اللغة العربية، أو القراءة، ما يسهل وصولهم إليها دون عناء، إضافة إلى تخفيفها للضغط الحاصل على دورات السوق الصغير.
وقال الوقداني إن إحداها تقع مقابل قصر الصفا بموقع مستشفى أجياد السابق، وأخرى أمام برج الصفوة مقابل باب الملك عبدالعزيز، بينما الثالثة أمام مشروع وقف الملك عبدالعزيز للحرمين الشريفين، فيما الرابعة جوار موقع النقل الجماعي بالشبيكة.
وبين أن الدورات الجديدة روعي فيها أحدث التصاميم البنائية المتوافقة مع المتطلبات، مشيرا إلى أن الدورات الجديدة واسعة البناء، وتحوي مئات المواضئ، إضافة إلى المشارب التي يستخدمها الزوار والمعتمرون للشرب، لافتا إلى أن الدورات تحتوي على دورين شاملين على دورات معدة خصيصا لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، مع ممرات خاصة بالعربات، لكبار السن وذوي الاحتياجات.
وأكد الوقداني أن رئاسة الحرمين تستعد للتسهيل على الزوار، وتوفير أرقى الخدمات لهم بفتح دورات المياه التابعة لمشروع الملك عبدالله بالساحات الشمالية أمام الزوار والمعتمرين، مبينا أنها ستسهم بشكل كبير في تغطية حاجة رواد الحرم وزائريه في موسم رمضان.
