دشن سعادة وكيل أمارة مكة المكرمة سعادة الدكتور عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله الخضيري, في التاسع من شهر رمضان المبارك لعام 1432هـ, موقع (مساجد مكة), رابط: www.masajed-makkah.net التابع للجنة الأئمة والخطباء بالمكتب التعاوني للدعوة والإرشاد في مكة المكرمة, بالشراكة مع مشروع تعظيم البلد الحرام.
والجدير بالذكر أن من أهم أهداف الموقع تعريف المسلمين في العالم على خصائص البلد الحرام, وآياتها البينات, وقيم تعظيمها. ومما يزيد من أهمية الموقع, استقطابه لنحو ألفي إمام وخطيب في مدينة مكة المكرمة, كأعضاء في مجتمع أئمة مكة الإلكتروني, ليسهموا في إثرائه بخبراتهم وأنشطتهم وخطبهم ومحاضراتهم ومقالاتهم.
ومن ناحية ثانية, احتوى الموقع تحت أيقونة "هذه مكة" أقساماً متنوعة للعناية بالمادة العلمية التي تخص موضوع تعظيم البلد الحرام.
ومن ناحية ثالثة, فقد اقتصر الموقع على الاعتناء بتنزيل القراءات المكية, من تلاوات المشهورين, سواءً من داخل المسجد الحرام, أو خارجه, وكذلك الحال بالنسبة للأذان, فقد تم تنزيل مقاطع فيديو لأربعة عشر مؤذناً من المسجد الحرام, بصوت وصورة المؤذن.
