Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed will open an exhibition on the Holy Qur’an studies on Sunday.

The 12 pavilions in the exhibition being organized by the College of Education in the King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah will showcase 30,000 items including books, publications, copies of the Holy Qur’an and flyers that are directly related to the study of the holiest book for Muslims. The exhibitors in the event include the King Fahd Holy Qur’an Printing Complex, the International Commission for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an, the Saudi Scientific Society for the Holy Qur’an, and Scientific Wonders in the Holy Qur’an and the Imam Al-Shatibi Institute of the Jeddah Charity Society for the Memorization of the Holy Qur’an.

A major attraction of the expo will be The Holy Qur’an Readings Tree, which is a chronological list of the narrators of different approved Qur’an readings presented in the form of a ‘tree.’

Head of the Holy Qur’an Studies Department at the College of Education Salah Baothman said the exhibition’s organizers have been striving to get exhibits from different parts of the Kingdom to make the event most comprehensive.

He also stressed the importance of the event since it is a specialized exhibition exclusively on the studies, writings and scientifically established facts related to the Holy Qur’an.

Supervisor of the expo Fahd Al-Atari said the displayed items include 22 pictures including photographs under the title ‘pictures and signs portraying the power of the Creator’ in addition to the plates showing the miraculous statements of the Holy Qur’an regarding a number of scientific inventions that took place centuries after the revelation of the Book. Some talented students drew the pictures and diagrams.

The participating establishments and items in the expo include the King Abdullah Chair for the Holy Qur’an and various study programs for the study of the holy book.

كشف الدكتور حبيب زين العابدين وكيل وزارة الشؤون البلدية والقروية رئيس الإدارة المركزية للمشروعات التطويرية بان الوزارة تنتظر الموافقة من الجهات المختصة، لإنشاء خط ثانٍ للقطار، بطاقة استيعابية تتجاوز 500 ألف راكب خلال الخدمة العامة، ويفوق الثلاثة ملايين في أيام التشريق والعيد.

وأضاف: هناك عدد من المشروعات التي تنتظر الموافقة عليها، وفي مقدمتها ربط الساحة الغربية في الجمرات بتوسعة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله، وتبلغ تكلفة المشروع نحو 850 مليون ريال، إضافة الى مشروع تقاطع طريق الطائف مع مشعر مزدلفة و الذي سينفذ على ثلاث مراحل متتالية، وبتكلفة إجمالية تصل الى قرابة المليار ريال.

كما طرح الدكتور حبيب زين العابدين، خلال ورقته التي ألقاها أمس في أولى جلسات الملتقى الهندسي الخليجي السادس عشر المقام في جدة، تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز، الخطة الشاملة لعرفات في السنوات العشر المقبلة.

وتمثلت الخطة، في الجمع بين العناية بالبيئة في عرفات، وأداء مهمتها في كونها ركنا من أركان الحج، منهجية علمية متوازنة للتشجير، والزراعة تأخذ في الاعتبار عناصر البيئة، اضافة الى زراعة نحو 30 ألف شجرة جديدة في المشاعر، فيما تظلل 30 في المائة من مساحة عرفات في عشر سنوات مقبلة.

من جهته قال المهندس حمد الشقاوي رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين ورئيس الملتقى، إن البعد البيئي في المنطقة وفي العالم تركز على الثلاثة المحاور الرئيسة للتنمية تتمثل في العدالة والكفالة والاستدامة لحماية البيئة إلا أن النمو المتزايد في سكان هذه المعمورة أدى إلى ارتفاع الطلب على الموارد الطبيعية مما يتطلب تنفيذ برامج هادفة للرقي بالمستوى التوعوي للبيئة والحصول على التكنولوجيا النظيفة وانتاجية عالية قادرة على المنافسة والبقاء.

ولفت وكيل وزارة الشؤون البلدية، ان صيانة المشروعات الكبرى لا بد ان تبتعد عن الصيانة الروتينية، وتعتمد على اربعة محاور أساسية لضمان سلامة المشروع واستمراريته، ومن ذلك الصيانة العلاجية، الصيانة الاستبدالية، والصيانة الشاملة، وما هو معمول به الان في غالبية المشروعات الصيانة السطحية .

وعلى هامش ملتقى المهندسين الخليجي، وقّعت الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين، خمس مذاكرات تفاهم مع خمس نقابات عالمية منها، المانيا ، مصر، باكستان، السودان، بنغلاديش، وذلك بهدف تقريب وجهات النظر والاستفادة من الكوادر البشرية المقيمة في المملكة والذي يعملون في قطاع الهندسة بمختلف تخصصاتها.

من جهته قال الدكتور إبراهيم الحماد رئيس اللجنة المنظمة وعضو مجلس الإدارة: إن الملتقى سيشهد أكثر من أربعين جلسة ومتحدثا وأكثر من 700 مهندس مسجل بالملتقى وإثني عشر رائداً هندسياً على مستوى الخليج كما يشارك أكثر من مليون مهندس ومهندسة عبر نقابات واتحادات المهندسين العربية والدولية.
