This meeting has come within the framework of the plan of the Ministry of Hajj to coordinate with the Hajj Affairs Offices concerning the arrangements and requirements of the pilgrims traveling to perform the rituals of Hajj in 1435 A.H. The meeting tackled the issues related to the organization of the Tunisian pilgrims’ affairs including their housing, transportation, and the services provided for them by the Tawafa Establishments, the United Agents Office, and the General Syndicate of Vehicles.

During his meeting with the Tunisian Hajj delegation, the Minister of Hajj reviewed the remarkable success of the Hajj season of 1434 A.H. He asserted that the Kingdom’s call to the countries of the world to reduce the ratio of the international pilgrims by 20% and the domestic pilgrims by 50% would be applicable during this year’s Hajj season in 1435 A.H. due to the projects implemented in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and at the Sacred Sites. This is to ensure that the pilgrims perform their rituals with the utmost ease, according to the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The number of the Tunisian pilgrims this year, 1435 A.H., is 8,300, which is the same as the number of pilgrims in the previous year, after abiding by the set percentage.

بدأت أمس أعمال صب الخرسانة لأعمدة المرحلة الثانية من مشروع خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز لرفع الطاقة الاستيعابية لصحن المطاف، على مساحة تقدر بحوالى 700م2 وكمية خرسانة تصل إلى 2000م3.

وبدأت هذه الأعمال مع إجراء ما يلزم من اختبارات مسبقة للخرسانة، وذلك بعد الانتهاء من أعمال الإزالة والهدم في المرحلة الثانية، والتي تمتد من منتصف الناحية الشمالية من التوسعة السعودية الأولى إلى منتصف الناحية الغربية المحاذية لتوسعة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك فهد رحمه الله، وذلك ضمن جدول زمني يبين أن العمل في المرحلة الثانية سيستمر إلى مطلع شهر رمضان المقبل، مع مراعاة عدم مضايقة الزوار والطائفين وأخذ الحيطة لسلامتهم ومنع دخولهم إلى الأماكن المزالة.

وتشكل المرحلة الثانية من المشروع ضعف إجمالي مسطحات المرحلة الأولى، إذ تبلغ 25 ألف متر مربع وستصل الطاقة الاستيعابية إلى 75 ألف طائف في الساعة بعد اكتمال هذه المرحلة والتي تبدأ عند انتهاء المرحلة الأولى شمال صحن المطاف وصولا إلى المحور المؤدي إلى باب الملك فهد في التوسعة السعودية الثانية، ومرورا بباب العمرة والمنطقة المقابلة له باتجاه صحن المطاف.

وتشمل هذه المرحلة إعادة إنشاء باب الفتح والمنطقة المحيطة به والمحيط الخارجي المواجه للساحات الشمالية، وسيتم من خلالها تفكيك وإعادة تركيب الرواق القديم بما يتلاءم مع متطلبات الحركة داخل صحن المطاف وبما يحقق المتطلبات المعمارية والصورة التاريخية للصحن.

وأوضح الرئيس العام لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي الشيخ الدكتور عبدالرحمن بن عبدالعزيز السديس أن العمل سيستمر في المرحلة الثانية إلى مطلع شهر رمضان المقبل للاستفادة مما سيتم إنشاؤه منها على غرار ما تم في المرحلة الأولى، حيث ستتم الاستفادة من دور القبو المحاذي لمنسوب صحن الطواف، بالإضافة إلى الدورين الأرضي والأول، فيما ستتم الاستفادة من دور السطح في موسم حج 1435هـ، وسيتم تعزيز المباني وكافة الأدوار بعناصر الحركة الرأسية والتي تشمل السلالم الثابتة والمتحركة لضمان الربط السلس والمرن بين كافة الأدوار.

وبين السديس أنه سيتم استكمال تركيب المستوى السفلي من المطاف المؤقت وربط مداخله بالدور الأرضي والساحات الخارجية بهدف الانتهاء منه وتجريبه قبل موسم رمضان المقبل، كما سيتم الانتهاء من التشطيبات الخاصة بالمطاف المؤقت وتشمل أنظمة الإضاءة والصوت والتهوية وتصريف المياه.

In an effort to improve services to Umrah pilgrims visiting the Grand Mosque in Makkah, authorities have initiated several measures including training of employees in communication skills.

Umm Al-Qura, a top university in the holy city, has entered into an agreement with the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs to train Haram employees in various areas of operation.

The training program began on Sunday, focusing on communication skills development particularly for guiding non-Arab pilgrims. All employees of the Grand Mosque would be undergoing the training to hone up their skills to provide proper and correct guidance to pilgrims and visitors, an official from the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs said on Sunday.

The training covers various areas including work ethics according to Islamic traditions and a humane approach while serving the pilgrims. The presidency has reiterated that it is committed to providing best services to pilgrims. The presidency also established its own exclusive training center to teach English to its employees, and about 250 employees are undergoing the training. The Ministry of Haj is responsible for curbing such malpractices to ensure that pilgrims perform Umrah without any problem. According to official estimates, 750,000 pilgrims have already performed Umrah in just one month, a record compared to last year. The figure is expected to touch over six million by the end of the season.

“My wife went to pick up a wheelchair from the government office. I have been suffering from back problem for the last 14 years. يستعرض المعرض الإسلامي "معرض عمارة الحرمين الشريفين" الذي يقام في مركز الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز للعلوم والتقنية "سايتك" هذه الأيام تسلل حقبة زمنية لعمارة الحرمين الشريفين وكسوة الكعبة منذ عهد المغفور له بإذن الله الملك عبدالعزيز بن عبدالرحمن آل سعود مروراً بعهد أبنائه البررة من بعده حيث بلغ عدد الزوار الذين توافدوا على المعرض الإسلامي حوالي 9000 زائر حتى الآن واستمتعوا بالمقتنيات المختلفة التي تم عرضها للمرة الأولى والتي عرفت الزوار بتاريخ الإسلام ومراحل توسعة الحرمين الشريفين وكسوة الكعبة المشرفة.

وأشار المشرف على معرض عمارة الحرمين الشريفين التابع للرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي فواز السلمي ل"الرياض"، إلى إن المعرض يضم 41 صورة لهذا التسلسل التاريخي وصور لتسلسل التوسعة والتي بدأت في عهد الملك عبدالعزيز بن عبدالرحمن - رحمه الله- ثم التوسعة التي حصلت في عهد كلا من أبنائه من بعده حتى وصولها لخادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز - حفظه الله- الذي قام بأكبر توسعة تاريخية للحرم المكي الشريف وتشمل ثلاث مراحل توسعة المسعى وتوسعة المسجد الحرام وتوسعة المطاف.

ولفت السلمي إن المعرض يقدم صورا للتوسعة كذلك في عهد الملك سعود - رحمه الله- في عام 1375ه ثم التوسعة في عهد الملك فهد - رحمه الله- عام 1409ه ثم التوسعة في عهد خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز - حفظه الله-.

وأوضح مدير العلاقات العامة والتسويق في سايتك وليد الرشيد بأن زيارات المدارس بدأت في مطلع الأسبوع الجاري عقب الانتهاء من الإجازة الفصلية وبدء الدوام المدرسي، وأضاف الرشيد بأن الطلاب تنقلوا بين أركان المعرض المختلفة وشاهدوا عن قرب المقتنيات التي تحكي تاريخ الإسلام.

وقال: إن المعارض تستهدف طلاب المدارس والجامعات والجاليات العربية والأجنبية وجميع شرائح المجتمع، ويضم المعرض الاسلامي في " سايتك " العديد من المعروضات من مصاحف ومخطوطات ثمينة وقطع أثرية ونقوش كتابية وصور نادرة ومجسمات معمارية تمثل العصور الإسلامية المختلفة، كما يعد معرض المصحف الشريف معرضاً متخصصاً يضم عدداً من الأجنحة المعرفة بالجهود المبذولة في كتابة المصاحف، وجماليات الخط العربي، وأدواته، والزخرفة، والخطوط الحاسوبية ، ويستعرض الزوار الجهود التي تبذلها الدولة في الدراسات والأبحاث المستمرة لخدمة الكتاب والسنة، إضافة إلى ما ينتجه من نسخ المصحف الشريف التي تقدر بعشرة ملايين نسخة توزع على المسلمين في جميع القارات، بأكثر من 65 لغة مختلفة.
