بدأت الرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي أمس الأول تثبيت وتركيب أعمدة ومسار الطواف المعلق الذى سينفذ فى صحن المطاف لفصل حركة العربات وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة عن الطائفين، وسيتم إكمال تركيب المسار خلال الثلاثة الأسابيع المقبلة ليكون فى خدمة المعتمرين خلال شهر رمضان المقبل. وتابعت «المدينة» أمس الأعمال الجارية فى صحن المطاف لإكمال تركيب الطواف المعلق، حيث يعمل عدد من المختصين والآليات والرافعات فى تثبيت الأعمدة، فيما شوهد من الجانب الآخر العمل يتواصل فى مشروع زيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية للمطاف.

وأكد الشيخ الدكتورعبدالرحمن بن عبدالعزيز السديس الرئيس العام لشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي إمام وخطيب المسجد الحرام بدء تنفيذ اقتراح المسؤولين فى الرئاسة العامة لشؤون المسجد الحرام بإنشاء جسر معلق للطائفين من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة بمحاذات المكبرية والرواق العباسي يفصل حركة الطائفين الراجلين وذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة وكبار السن والضعفاء الذين يطوفون على عربات وسيكون جاهزًا خلال شهر رمضان القادم.

وقال: إن الرئاسة لاحظت أن المشروع الجاري لتوسعة المطاف رغم أنه فى مرحلته الأولى كان هناك تداخل بين الطائفين الراجلين الذين يمشون بأقدامهم وبين ذوى الاحتياجات الخاصة وكبار السن والضعفاء الذين يطوفون على عربات، فيكون هناك اصطدام ووقوع أذى لكثير من الطائفين من خلال بعض التصرفات لقائدى العربات، ولهذا رؤى من المصلحة بعد الدراسة المستفيضة مع إدارة المشروعات والمكاتب الهندسية والمجموعة المنفذة.

وأشار السديس إلى أن وزارة التعليم العالى ومعهد خادم الحرمين الشريفين والجهات الأمنية أيدت المقترح، وتقرر أن يكون هناك جسر معلق وله قواعد، وتم صب القواعد بمحاذات المكبرية والرواق العباسي، وبدأ العمل وحدد قبل دخول رمضان موعدًا لإنهاء المشروع ليفصل حركة العربات وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة عن الطائفين حتى لا يكون هناك تداخل وأذى، وهذا فى الحقيقة عمل عظيم جبار من خلال هذا المشروع الذى ينتظم عدة خدمات تقدم للطائفين ومرتادي المسجد الحرام.
