I spoke to the pilgrims, none of them offer the missed 10 rakats taraweeh nor they join the tahajjud in last 10 days to complete the recitation of quran.
1. Pilgrims miss 10 rakat taraweeh
2. Listen to recitation of one complete Quran in taraweeh.
Otherwise they would have been practicing this sunnah in their local masjid.
Regional tensions spark rare hotel price falls in Makkah during Ramadan
MAKKAH: Hotel demand in Makkah during the final 10 days of Ramadan, traditionally the busiest period of the year, has softened this season as international pilgrims cancel bookings due to regional tensions impact on the aviation industry, causing lower prices as more flights get cancelled or rerouted, or as passengers prefer to delay their plans.
The shift has opened opportunities for Saudi citizens and residents as well as visitors from non effected areas and routes, who can now secure rooms near the Grand Mosque at prices rarely seen during Ramadan’s final nights.
Hotels that normally sell out months in advance are now accepting last-minute reservations.
These efforts are part of a comprehensive system of services provided by the general authority to create a comfortable and spiritually enriching environment for all visitors
MAKKAH: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque provided about 58,000 carpets for the Two Holy Mosques.
Of these, 39,400 carpets are placed in the Grand Mosque in Makkah, including within the Third Saudi Expansion, to ensure the comfort of worshippers.
Field teams continuously monitor the carpets’ readiness through regular cleaning, sanitizing and replacement.
They also redistribute the carpets to accommodate shifts in crowd density during prayer times and peak hours, particularly during the large influx of pilgrims in Ramadan.
The authority places particular emphasis on the quality of the carpets used. They are manufactured to high specifications to withstand intensive use while maximizing comfort for worshipers.
Strict safety standards, along with ease of cleaning and maintenance, are also prioritized.
