This thread was meant to be for Islamic apps as the title suggests. You can add the other apps here if you want, inshaAllah. Otherwise you start a new thread called useful Android apps (non Islamic).

Personally I think all I really make use of are the following:

Qibla compass 10/10
My masjid app 8/10
Silent time 10/10
13 line Quran 9/10
iQuran 10/10

That's all I need and I make use of them almost everyday.

For Android, there is another form of Market, which I had posted here too, but due to the high number of Very unIslamic images on that app market I had removed it, also it was down for a long time. There are plenty of apps available like the iQuran Pro for free. If you would like the name of this market, please PM me and I will send you the link which you type into the address bar of the phone and the market place starts downloading automaticaly.

Islamic wallpapers for phones.

There are 22 wallpapers at the moment, they are not too bad, however it lacks many options of saving as contact icon, sending as image, copy and paste etc. It can only be used as wallpapers for the phone.

Some very good apps, 1 of my favourite is Nearest Masjid. Been using it a year now, it is excellent. Advised for all "Android" users to have this.

iQuran.

The iquran on the first page is not free and is the pro version. All the apps in this thread are FREE.

I missed this app.

hint acknowledged ;-) though probs not until the new 2012 one....

I could help with arranging the programming for the apps. I can not do it myself, but know a guy who does. Obviously, there is a fee involved as he does it as a profession and adding to the fact he is a non-muslims, but I am sure people who value this, could or would contribute.

Any suggestions??

The costs depends on the amount of content and what exactly needs doing. If you want we can arrange a meeting a take it from there or something. Also, if other look around for android or app developers.
