Links to unverified book and site removed from above posts. Please do not post the link to that pdf or site as it teaches countering magic with methods that are similar to magic itself. I would recommend that each person who feels they're affected to go to a reliable scholar in person and NOT post or find solutions online. It's too common nowadays to feel one's affected when most times it's simple dehydration, bad diet, food poisoning, lack of sleep etc but doubts of Sihr and Nazr is applied very prematurely without a second thought)
For sisters, go with a Mahram or find a female scholar. There's plenty when one wants to find and Google search is not searching. Phone Darul Ulooms or organisations and take it from there.
With recitation of Aayat posted in this thread and other threads there will almost never be a reason to see anyone.
Hijamah is neither Sunnah nor recommended for women at all. We have plenty of evidence for men getting Hijamah but almost zilch evidence for the women-folks of the Sahabah getting Hijamah done.
There may be medical reasons but theologically zilch to nil evidence for women.
Medically it makes no sense for women because the idea is that men need to get rid of their "bad blood" while Allah (SWT) has naturally made women so it happens on a monthly basis.
I am amazed on all these Internet Sisters who advertise their Services for women "as Sunnah" and nobody asks them for evidence
As Salam o Aliekum, I don't know how can I say " BIG THANK YOU " to you. Allah Pak aap ko Jaza day, aap nay bohat saray tutay howay logon ke umeedon ko zinda kar dia hay .. Allah Pak aap k darjat buland karay.. Ameen
I listened to both Cds did not feel anything when listening to the one pertaining to Sihr/Jaddu. But the Ruqyah Cd concerning Nazar, I had loose motions after listening to the first time, various muscles in my body randomly would start twitching.
So I listened to it daily for 40 days as recommended in the Bayaan, what I found was that after the initial few days my enthusiasm started to wear off, and it became more of a chore, as the days went on I found it more difficult to actually focus on the recitation. Hence I presume the reason for no improvement.
Probably need to do it again with greater focus.
On a sidenote I downloaded a recording of the WIRD of Imam Nawawi which I hads heard was for protection from all kinds of calamaties, and used the method of intention prescribed by Mufti Junaid for his Ruqyah CDs. I found the recitation of the wird to be very powerful, very strange feelings on my body when listening, did'nt understand why that was until I actually read the Translation, and reslised the beauty of the Wird of Nawawi, surprised the wird is not as well known in Indo/Pak subcontinent as it is in the middle east.
Translation Of Wird al Nawawi.
In the Name of Allah the Most Merciful the Most Compassionate
Bismillah (‘In the name of Allah). Allah is most great, Allah is most great, Allah is most great’ I say upon myself, upon my religion, upon my family, upon my children, upon my property, upon my companions, upon their religion, and upon their property.
One-thousand Bismillah (‘In the name of Allah), Allah is most great, Allah is most great, Allah is most great’, I say upon my religion, upon my family, upon my children, upon my property, upon my companions, upon their religion, and upon their property.
One-thousand thousand Bismillah (‘In the name of Allah), Allah is most great, Allah is most great, Allah is most great’, I say upon myself, upon my religion, upon my family, upon my children, upon my property, upon my companions, upon their religion, and upon their property.
One-thousand thousand La Hawla wala Quwwatta Illa billah (‘There is no strength nor power except by Allah, the High, the Most Great’,) [I say upon myself…].
Bismillah (In the name of Allah), and through Allah, and from Allah, and towards Allah, and upon Allah, and in Allah – there is no strength nor power except by Allah, the High, the Most Great.
‘ Bismillah (In the name of Allah’), upon my religion, upon myself, and upon my children.
‘ Bismillah (In the name of Allah)’, upon my property and upon my family.
‘ Bismillah (In the name of Allah)’ upon every thing my Lord has given me.
Bismillah (In the name of Allah), Lord of the seven heavens, Lord of the seven earths, and Lord of the mighty throne.
Bismillah (In the name of Allah), with whose name nothing can cause harm in the earth and the sky, and He is the All-hearing and All-knowing. (thrice)
Bismillah (In the name of Allah) – the best of all names in the earth and in the sky.
Bismillah (In the name of Allah) I commence, and with it I finish.
Allah, Allah, Allah.
Allah is my Lord – I associate no partner unto Him.
Allah, Allah, Allah.
Allah is my Lord: no deity exists other than Him.
Allah is more powerful, stronger, and greater than what I fear and guard against.
In You, O Allah, I seek refuge from the evil of myself and the evil of others, and the evil my Lord has created, forged, and designed.
In You, O Allah, I seek protection against them.
In You, O Allah, I take refuge from their [various] evils.
And with You, O Allah, I repel their necks.
Between me and them I put:
Say: He is Allah the One! * Allah the eternally Besought of all! * He begetteth not nor was begotten. * And there is none comparable unto Him. [112:1-4] (thrice)
And [I say] the same [the basmallah and sÅ«rat al-ikhlÄá¹£] to my right and to their right; and the same to my left and to their left; and the same in front of me and in front of them; and the same behind me and behind them; and the same above me and above them; and the same below me and below them; and the same encompassing me and encompassing them.
O Allah, verily I beseech You, for my sake and theirs, for whatever You choose from Your goodness which no one other than You possesses.
O Allah, put me and them in Your divine servitude and protection, in Your protectorship, in what is entrusted unto You, in the midst of Your party, in Your sanctuary and shelter – from every demon, possessor of power, human or jinn, from tyrants and enviers, from predatory beasts and serpents and scorpions, and from every crawling creature under Your control. Verily, my Lord is upon the straight path!
The Lord suffices me from all who are subject to others.
The Creator suffices me from the created.
The Sustainer suffices me from those who are sustained.
The Concealer suffices me from those who are concealed.
The Giver of Victory suffices me from those who are granted victory.
The Vanquisher suffices me from those who are vanquished.
The One who suffices me is my sufficiency.
He who never ceases sufficing me suffices me.
My sufficiency is Allah, and what a great agent is He!
Allah suffices me from [needing] His entire creation.
Verily, Allah is my protector, who sent down the Book, and he looks after the righteous. [7:196]
And when thou recitest the Quran We place between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter a hidden barrier * And We place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it and in their ears a deafness; and when thou makest mention of thy Lord alone in the Quran they turn their backs in aversion. [17:45]
Now if they turn away (O Muḥammad) say: Allah sufficeth me. There is no God save Him. In Him have I put my trust and He is Lord of the Tremendous Throne. [9:129] (seven times)
There is no strength nor power except by Allah, the High, the Most Great. (thrice)
And may the prayers of Allah be upon our master Muḥammad and upon his folk and Companions, and may He give them peace.
I conceal myself within the coffers of ‘through the name of Allah’. Its locks are my trust in AllÄh. Its keys are ‘there is no power except by Allah’. Through You, O Allah, I protect myself from what lies within my power and what lies without. Created creatures are powerless [when faced] with the ability of the Creator.
My sufficiency is Allah, and what a great agent is He! There is no strength nor power except by Allah, the High, the Most Great. And may the prayers of Allah be upon our master Muḥammad and upon his folk and Companions, and give them peace. (thrice)
I have not actually listened to the Wird for 40 days. What I meant by Mufti Junaids method of intention was that he states (from what i understood) that everytime you listen to Ruqyah you should make general Intention for example " Oh Allah through the barakah of this recitation Protect and remove all the effects of Jinn, Jadoo, Nazar Hasad from me etc" and also include one specific and targetted intention for example " Oh Allah also grant me complete cure of Depression." What he states is that for the specific intention you should only make one intention at a time rather then multiple intention That is if you are afflicted with several issues such as Lack of employment, diabetes, depression, hypertension, athritis, marriage problems. You should only make a specific intention for only one of those ailments, because making intention one at a time you will be cured more quickly, and sometimes automatically it will have a Layered effect, once one problem is removed, then if you continue listening automatically the next layer (problem) will be removed rather like peeling an onion until all problems are removed.
So I have listened to the Wird using the Method of general intention and specific intention, but unlike the Ruqyah I did not make a minimum intention of 40 days for the Wird of Imam Nawawi my listening has been more random.
Mufti Junaid states that people want an immediate cure so they listen to the ruqyah for a few days and when they do not see any visible result they give up, so one should make a minimum intention of at least 40 days. But he also states that if one has been suffering from a particular affliction for 15/20 plus years, then it could take alot longer even up to 2 years. The key is to carry on listening until one no longer feels any effects whilst they are listening to the Ruqyah other then peace and tranquility which is a sure sign that one is cured. I presume that only a few amongst a few would have that degree of consistency.
My impression is and this is just my personal impression, that for emotional issues and depression one is likely to see results a lot quicker. But for Physical illnesses (and I have been making an intention for a physical illness) it may take a lot more time and Allah knows best.
I hope that Insha'Allah that clarifies things. What I found with my random listening of the Wird is that when I have been feeling depressed/ self pity , listening to the wird has help dissipate those feelings. And being unemployed for a while, what I found is that suddenly I have been getting interviews, and have received job offers, whether this is related to listening of the Wird Allahu Alim.
I Initially for about three days listened to the Wird as much as possible through out each day, I felt kind of pressure on my head, started feeling drowsy and moody and irritable. So decided that perhaps too much overdosing might not be advisable without the permission of a shaykh. The recording of the Wird I have is only 8 minutes, so I suppose once in the morning and once at night should be sufficient.
Masha'Ala brother good stuff, I would strongly suggest just in case you're not doing them to make sure you're reading masnoon duas morning and evening alongside with manzil and Insha'Ala you'll be protected from all forms of evil. May things keep working out for you brother.
Secondly yes without a doubt the wird is beautiful Masha'Ala but yeah it is mostly unheard of in desi circles.

My favourite morning and evening masnoon dua book - very powerful very effective - it has manzil in it aswell
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
