depending on where these are placed....would it be suitable in public places as other faiths could use them also or even use them the inproper way....(if you get what i am trying to say inshaALLAH)
Just a note to add on this topic... something I heard in Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq's Bukhari dars some months back.
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would make wudhu with less than a litre of water and ghusl with less than 4 litres of water.
The Sunnah is as detailed as the narrations which have been passed down to us from and about Rasoolullah (SAW), and if we know that he used a certain amount of water for ablutions, then that too is a sunnah we should strive to act upon.
There is little doubt that the use of taps made implementation of this sunnah much more difficult, if not impossible.
Surely, this presents an argument against the use of running water-on-tap let alone automatic wudhu machines.
But, argument is not for argument's sake, so let us make the intention to atleast reduce the water pressure when using taps, so we can get a little closer to the target volume. In shaa Allah ! Oh yeah, and those taps that give 'bubbly' water ... they're great ! D
Allahummaslihnaa fee qawlinaa wa a'maalinaa waghfirlanaa ajma'een. Aaameen.
