in the Quran, fir'oun, qarun and haman are mentioned.

i know the story behind fir'oun and qarun.

does anybody know who the third person is? (the story behind him??)

(i have always wanted to ask this since i was a wee little girl)

if anyone of you do want to tell the story behind the 1st 2, then feel free as i am sure it will benefit others.

and no, this type of question does not necessarily need to be posed to the Ulamaa. i know there are a few here that will know the answer to my question.

if not, then i will pose this question to someone with more knowldge.

from what i know Haman was Fir'auns Minister.

I would just like to add this also

There are four kinds of people who neglect ritual salah and they will be with these people on the Day of Judgment

1, They are negligent because of there rule and sovereignty...they will be with Fir'aun who rebelled on account of his sovereignty.

2, They are negligent because of there wealth, there fate will be with Qarun who was an insurgent because of his wealth.

3, They are negligent because of there high office, they will be with Haman who rebelled against Allah because he was Fir'auns Minister.

4, They neglect ritual salah because of there business, they will stand with Ubayy bin Khalf. He was a polytheist and was engaged in business, he was killed by the Holy Prophet(saw) himself.

jazakillah. at least i have an idea of who Haman was.
Fir'oun died in the sea due to the miracle that took place with Musa a.s (with Allah سبحانه وتعالى help)
Qarun was swallowed up along with his treasure by the earth through Allah سبحانه وتعالى order.
do you know how Haman died??

but if nobody does, then i will borrow you a book.

he was the ruler in Musa a.s time. he (Fir'oun) was the husband of Asiya r.a.
the above three i mentioned in the beginning are mentioned in the Quran.
do you know the story of Musa a.s??

there you go rujie.
a dedicated sister has posted the story.

when you get back from hajj, you should read the stories of sahaba, sahabiyaats and lives of other prominent figures in islam. including wives and daughters of the prophet (saw).
it is sooooo interesting.
it really opens your mind and admiration enters your heart leaving you wanting to follow their ways.

jazakillah sister for posting that story.
