Speaking of designs. Is anything being done to raise Muftisays.org profiIe/awareness ?? Its been around 2 years now i think that the sites been about. I remeber the first few weeks it started and now where it is. MashaIIah may aIIah give ajaar azeem to those uIama who tireIess worked to get it running and are continuing to do so.

I dunno how brothers/sisters or more importantIy the uIama feeI on this but i think with some forward pIanning (and aIot of duas) and heIp of other sincere brothers (and sisters) we shouId be thinking to raise more awareness of the site. Its the first such site in the UK that has good reIiabIe Q&A section asweII as a proper forum which is manned by UIama most of the time.

Just an opinion but when taIks are heId at certain musjids/pIaces by certain uIama can we not ask them that if they have posters (and if the UIama of muftisays agrees) can they aIso put on something aIong the Iines of "in association with muftisays.org" or "a muftisays sponsered/endorsed event".

WouId have been great to raise awareness of muftisays.org if before ramadhan the "PearIs of Widom" engIish program (4 weeks of engIsh taIks by 2 UIama from MoIIy SaIeems IDAUK, MoIIY Moh'd AIi and MoIIy Yunus DoodhwaIa both from East Ham) at Stamford HiII (SH) musjid had mentioned in the posters they have up at musjids in CIapton, Queens Rd WaIthamstow, Ieyton, OIinda Rd, Azzizya musjid, Sandringham Rd DaIston and few others that the taIk is being heId in assoc with muftisays.org or something simiIar.

Wa Alaykum Salam,

At the moment, it's hard to get organizations onboard. Especially when they have similar projects on their sites. I can understand to an extent but still it disappoints me to hear certain things in replies. Working together achieves so much more but Allah A'lam. InshaAllah with the Du'aas and support of members, they'll be onboard too and services can then be provided both ways. I really hope to see that one day.

I'm glad you brought it up. May Allah reward you.

Wassalam

InshaIIah we may pIan future taIks in SH musjid on a monthIy or 6 weekIy basis. With your permission I'II ask the brothers organising it if muftisays name can be mentioned on the posters. Can someone aIso speak with any responsibIe brothers at cIapton musjid/queens road musjid to do Iike wise. HumbIe request to aII members to keep a Iookout for any taIks that muftisays can use to raise their awareness/profiIe (getting permission from Admin FIRST BEFORE approaching the event organiser/s or uIama giving the taIk)

Man we aIso need sisters taIks to be heId inside musjids at a time when it dont cIash with saIaat times (so no fear of mixing with men). Hearing at home via tranmitters is not (in my opinion) the same as hearing with other sisters as sometimes theres great benefit that can be derived from other each other and aaIimahs are used to their fuII capacity.

Assallamu Alaikum Warahmatullah,

Totally agree with 'DayWalk' and Allahسبحانه وتعالى willing it'll be quite effective.

We at ProjectHaq will hopefully be organising events and lectures on a regular basis, Insha'Allah. A project we were working on (which is on-halt due to ramadhan) was "Renewing the Boycott", which i'm sure i emailed you about, Br.Yasin?!? Before we finalise anything, be sure to send me a "muftisays.com" logo and we'll incorporate that into the design. (might take some-time.. Blame my lazyness)

I partially agree with Br.Yasin as sometimes it can be difficult to get other organisations on-board, but thats dependent on you as an individual. Get in-touch with afew young ulemah that have an influence on committees/ other ulemah around london or a specific area, e.g. Walthamstow.

Having said that, i'm extremely pleased to see the muftisays net-station, which i believe if used effectively could be of great benefit to many. Just an idea - it would be great if you can get hold of an Aalim to deliver a lecture or Q&A session every so often (or once every week),

- Live Anasheed Hour?! and requests? , but will require a team or a commited individual.

Had afew more ideas...minds gone blank.

[Br.Yasin - I'll make a start on the P-Haq Anasheed Hour sometime soon, just abit busy atm, (lazy)]

It is a great idea to advertise or prompt awareness about site in events, mosque etc

Maybe this idea is silly or already been done by members, but how about having www.muftisays.com on the end of your e-mails when you send your e-mail to people.

I've sometime done that and got replies back saying "Is that a hint to go into the site"???

As I was saying about recommending this site. I forgot to seek premission from Admin but recommended it to a website called BanglaKitab.com (that site is very good see for yourself, not only for bengali speaking people)

[BanglaKitab.com team quote] Good news - per your suggestion, we reviwed and added MuftiSays.com in both search option and link on the right side. Jazakumullah Khairan for sharing.

Please encourage others to use Maariful Quran (Bangla in banglakitab.com and English in islamibayanaat.com) to gain proper understanding of the Word of Allah, Quran.

I check it out and it links to here.

Jazakumullah.

Posting links on other sites is absolutely fine. Recommended in fact. Just be sure to have the correct descriptions if more info is asked from site owners.

I have split this topic so the specific topic can be the subject. The other topic was about a logo request.

This website has only got this far due to the sacrifices of time from the Ulamaa and the fully committed support of the members such as yourselves. It's mainly been word of mouth and search engine indexing. Suprizing how many times this site comes up as top result on some search queries. Alhamdulillah.

I agree with what projecthaq and daywalker said, there is need for more actions and it can get further if done properly.

Keep the input coming. Jazakumullah
