Masjid Reciever

Walaikum Salaam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Jazakillah Khairan, i understand the frequencies... I don't have a programming button, seems like i am going to have to get hold of people who are in different towns to get the correct stations for the masjids i want to know, Insha'Allah. It's really resourceful especially in Ramadhan as we have so many guest ulema coming to our masaajid in this blessed month, just don't want to miss out.

Jazak'Allah Khairan Katheera, i was doing something similar to what you just done in a spreadsheet yesterday lol...

I know which channels work now all i have to do is figure out which masjid can be heard on the channels i've found... the above that you've mentioned i believe are correct. The thing is on my reciever you can only see channel number.

My mosque radio only has 20 channels and we only got it in Jan 06. I thought Stamford Hill mosque was on channel 5 and Clapton mosque was on 18.

Sis Muslimah Ukhti, Firstly I pray ur in the best of health and imaan. Ameen. Masjid e Quba (Stamford Hill Mosque aka Cazenove road mosque) is as Br. Ahmed mentioned on 454.0250. If I come across any more I'll let u know, I know I get ELM on my new receiver as well so will checl that one up for you as well Inshallah Ta'ala.

I think the masjids you pick up depend on where you live?

Well it was via you i worked out Stamford Hill Masjid on me reciever, Jazakumullahu Khairan Katheera... [not sure if you still remember].

My reciever is not according to frequency sis, sirf channels nazar aate hai reciever peh.

That is correct, it is dependent upon your location.

Sister Queenie, the one from masjid-e-umer i believe is a like a 'box', i'm not too sure about the price will see if i can find out, i think it was �90 around time we got it, i might be mistaken, maybe cheaper now. Will let you know when i find out, Insha'Allah.

As for the Stamford Hill and Clapton Masjid, I'm sure some members on this forum may be of assistance (as they are familiar with those areas).

You should be able to get the 'reciever' from the masjids you mentioned and Masjid-e-Umer for the price of �85, Insha'Allah.
