Learning arabic

Assalamu alaikum,

This summer holiday I really wanted to pursue Arabic INTENSIVELY!!

Does anyone know any places in the UK which do proper intensive courses?

Mashallah, I know there are many overseas too.

I wonder if muftisays could organise a summer 'killer' arabic course. e.g. 3-4weeks, 4-5hours tuition/day and of course a very sizeable fee could be offered. I did a course (Ibn Jabal course - check it on internet) like this before it was amazing Mashallah and would recommend it to everyone.

I hope our Ulama will realise the great potiential of summer holidays - thousands of students (school, college and university) who don't go to madrasah having free time for 2-4 months. We must get these students into Ilmy and Islamy activites by having challengeing courses/oppurtunites to learn or else they will resort to the cinemas and arcades.

May Allah increase our Ilm and A'maal Inshallah!

London would be ideal - as I said before the only one i have done is the Ibn Jabal course - Inshallah the brother who does it should do more courses this holiday so go to his website.

Another place is in east London, AL Baseera - but these aren't intensive - just a couple of hours a week. The Ibn Jabal was intensive.

Arabic is something I believe that can be learnt to a satisfactory level quickly if one works hard - once one grasps most of the grammer, its just a question of learning new vocab.

Alhamdulilah there are sooo many top scholars in london, so i wish one of them would make such an arabic course. Arabic is the key to oceans of Knowledge and is so important to learn!
