Rasul-ullah (saw) lived as a minority in Makkah and challenged the majority of Mushrikeen! It reached a point where majority of Mushrikeen offered to comprise i.e. you do your thing and we do our thing, just live happily in the same society and Allah Ta'ala said:

Did you read this story.

Abu Dharr (R.A.) was among the first persons to accept Islam.

Let us leave Abu Dharr to continue his own story . . .

After that I stayed with the Prophet (S.A.W.) in Makkah and he taught me Islam and taught me to read the Quran.

Then Prophet (S.A.W.) said to me, "Don't tell anyone in Makkah about your acceptance of Islam. I fear that they will kill you."
"By Him in whose hands is my soul, I shall not leave Makkah until I go to the Sacred Mosque and proclaim the call of Truth in the midst of the Quraish," vowed Abu Dharr (R.A.).

The Prophet (S.A.W.) remained silent. I went to the Mosque. The Quraish were sitting and talking. I went in their midst and called out at the top of my voice:

"O people of Quraish, I testify that there is no God but Allah and that Mohammad (S.A.W.) is the messenger of Allah."

My words had an immediate effect on them. They jumped up and said, "Get this one who has left his religion."

They pounced on me and began to beat me mercilessly. They clearly meant to kill me. But Abbas ibn Abdul-Muttalib (R.A.), the uncle of the Prophet (S.A.W.), recognized me. He bent over and protected me from them. He (R.A.) told them: "Woe to you! Would you kill a man from the Ghifar tribe and your caravans must pass through their territory?"

They then released me. I went back to the Prophet (S.A.W.) and when he saw my condition, he (S.A.W.) said, "Didn't I tell you not to announce your acceptance of Islam?"

"O Messenger of Allah," I said, "It was a need I felt in my soul and I fulfilled it."

"Go to your people," he (S.A.W.) commanded, "and tell them what you have seen and heard. Invite them to Allah. Maybe Allah will bring them good through you and reward you through them. And when you hear that I have come out in the open, then come to me."

Dear Western Muslims,

Quote:

Please follow the guidelines below carefully. Remember: Islam is perfectly acceptable—as long as nobody can see you practicing it.

1. Leave Islam publicly…

Islam cannot be hidden

Quote:
Then spend the rest of your life questioning everything about Islam publicly. This is, apparently, the safest and most fashionable option.

We may still need your services as an “insider” from time to time, so until your official exit interview is complete:

No one is advised against openly practicing Islam. Conditions are not as bad as they were during the era of the former Soviet Union.

Quote:
Do NOT practice Islam publicly.
Absolutely do NOT discuss Islam publicly.
But please feel free to enjoy Sufi music, Sufi poetry, and Sufi movies—apparently Islam becomes culturally acceptable once the theology has been replaced by background music and spinning.

No one is advised against openly practicing Islam. Conditions are not as bad as they were during the era of the former Soviet Union.

2. Rebrand Your family

Quote:
Your daughter Aisha is now Olivia.

And whatever you do, don't let her think marriage could possibly be anything other than patriarchal bondage™.

Tradition is dangerous. Unless, of course, it is aesthetically pleasing, historically distant, and available on Netflix.

We are discussing how to practice Islam openly in a peaceful and pleasant environment; otherwise, the majority of Muslims will drift away even from the remnants of Islam they still retain.

Quote:
3. Please don't read the sources

Under NO circumstances should you independently open the Qur’an, Hadith, classical texts, or anything written before the invention of social media.

Why risk developing an informed opinion?

Our appointed scholars™ will continue providing carefully curated guidance from the pulpit whenever necessary.

They will tell you:

what to believe,
how to believe it,
when to believe it,
and, most importantly, when to keep donating.

Independent research is strongly discouraged.

Monthly donations, however, remain highly encouraged.

This problem is in your place, you only can solve it.
Quote:
4. Vacation? Absolutely not.

Why spend two weeks somewhere relaxing when you can perform Hajj and Umrah repeatedly, preferably in a supervised group led by appointed scholars™

Remember our inspirational slogan:

“Fly to Makkah, See the World!”

Spiritual journey, tourism package, group supervision, and fundraising opportunity—all conveniently bundled together.

This problem is in your place, you only can solve it.
Quote:

5. Don't worry about citizenship

Your Western passport and citizenship are completely secure and guaranteed.

Just as Indian citizenship and the Indian passport have always been completely secure and guaranteed for Indian Muslims.

No historical irony whatsoever.

Please proceed confidently.

This groundbreaking guidance has been developed and refined in:

Al-Andalus
India
Tajikistan
Uzbekistan
The Balkans
The Philippines
China
And various other places where history has generously provided us with case studies.

The Muslim world is aware of the challenges facing the Ummah. We are resolved to alleviate these issues. While sympathy exists, a true sense of shared anguish—the sentiment of regarding others' pain as one's own—is missing.
Quote:

🥇 GOLDEN ADVICE

If someone has the audacity to question your logic, DO NOT answer the question.

Instead:

Invoke the Sahaba (RA).
Announce that the question is actually an attack on Aqeedah.
Mention the sanctity of “early Islam.”
Avoid the original question completely.
Add several kilograms of Bollywood Emotional Masala™.
Become visibly offended.
Declare victory.

Bonus points if you can transform a simple historical or theological question into a five-hour debate about someone's character, intentions, iman, upbringing, and whether they secretly hate Islam.

There is no provision to discuss under the supervision of a HAKAM (arbitrator).

Quote:

KEEP DONATING 💰
The Committee for the Management of Your Independent Thought™

YOUR PROBLEM.

The principle of "might is right" (meaning that power dictates what is right, or that "only white people are correct") should not become the norm. Equal opportunities (level playing field) should be provided for everyone irrespective of ethnic background. This is Islam.

Dear Idiot!

  • This a thread about Dr Zakir Naik's exile and the discussion is about Western Muslims
  • Your response is reposting that Maulana Abul-Kalam Azad (RA) received his first lesson from the *Sheikh-ul-Haram* at the age of five.. around 1893

Just in case, I don't say it enough

You are an idiot!
