Indian Ulama have shouted this propaganda from the rooftops that the dire condition and circumstances of Indian Muslims is due to two factors:
- Creation of Pakistan in 1947
- Muslims of India being careless and offending Hindus by consuming beef and not being respectful to Hindu religion from 1947 onwards

In the book on the life of Maulana Ilyas (RA) and origins of Tableeghi Jamaat by the eminent Indian Scholar Abdul-Hasan ali Nadwi (RA) [1914-1999] writes

And he categorically states that Maulana Ilyas (RA) fought against and created Tableeghi Jamaat against Shuddhi Sanghatan movement in the 1920s!
Shuddhi Sanghatan movement
- Shuddhi means Purification
- Sangathan means Consolidation
This was a movement in India in 1900 to beat, torture, boycott, coerce Muslims of India and force-convert to Hinduism which the Scholars of India rightly opposed.
Maulana Ilyas (RA) founded the Tableeghi Jamaat to counter this movement and to have an organized response to the force-conversion of Muslims to Hinduism.
The idea of Pakistan or separation of India didn't even exist in 1900s so when will the Indian Ulama STOP selling their propaganda to Muslims and STOP telling them to continue to compromise their religion? This strategy has clearly not worked since 1900 until 2026 and things continue to get worse for Muslims...
