Since you have nothing to do with Islam or Muslims, I understand that Hadeeth means nothing to do but at least get the history correct!

No, that is historically incorrect. The Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque in 1453 by Sultan Mehmed II (Mehmed the Conqueror), following the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople.

Sultan Mahmud Ghaznavi II had no connection to Constantinople or the Hagia Sophia.

Peterborough City Council put the entire freehold of the New England Complex up for sale via a competitive Best and Final Offer process to help pay down municipal debt. UKIM's bid was to buy the entire property outright rather than an individual unit.

The temple does not occupy the whole complex.

The Hindu temple trust, Bharat Hindu Samaj has been a sitting tenant leasing Unit 6 of the complex since 1986.

The New England Complex is divided into multiple distinct spaces; Units 1 through 7.

Now tell me, in light of the above facts, can a council really be held over a barrel by a tenant who only occupies 15% of the building, hasn't paid a penny in rent for 15 years, and took the piss with a £1 offer to buy the whole place, only raising their bid once they saw a local Muslim group was about to buy it?
