In the New York democrat primary race, Andrew Cuomo former Governor of New York, one of the Lawyers representing Netanyahu in his case for war crimes at the International Criminal Court. Backed by the Israel Lobby, funded by billionaires, endorsed by the likes of Bill Clinton.
Was defeated by Zohran Mamdani a Shia Muslim.
Mamdani of Indian heritage born in Uganda is the son of a University Professor,
and his mother is a famous movie producer.
What is remarkable about his win it was against a very powerfully backed candidate. About 8 months ago, he had 1% support in the polls and Andrew Cuomo had 30% support. He was not well known to the general public.
Furthermore anyone familiar with American politics knows that during political debates the prospective candidates all ways get asked "Do you stand with Israel" and "How much support will you give Israel". In one of the debates everyone of the candidates was asked will you visit Israel, if you get elected to show your support. Everyone one of the candidates said yes, except for Mamdani who said he would "Stay in New York and serve the people of New York".
He also said, that if elected Mayor he would have Netanyahu arrested if he came to New York.
In the last few weeks the entire Zionist media joined together to run a campaign against him, The New York Times, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The National Review asking democrat voter's not to vote for him. He still won the nomination despite this.
This has been a very big defeat for AIPAC. But having said that the main Mayoral election will be in November and the entire Zionist media establishment will be throwing everything at him in order to defeat him. But still this primary race is a historic win, and also sends shockwaves through the Israel lobby, for it proves candidates can win votes without pledging allegiance to Israel.
