I had Jehovah's witnesses knock on my door. There were two old ladies with leaflets in their hands and gave me one to read. The leaflet posed questions: How do you view the future? Will our world... Stay the same? Get worse? Get better?

How would you have answered their questions?

I was working from home and was in middle of something so my mind wasn't really switched on to engage in a conversation and didn't really want to get into islamic point of view of end times, our role in this world etc... so i kind of just gave a generic answer and took their leaflet and bid farewell.

I had a couple knock on my door last week. Been a long time though.

I also couldn't be bothered simply because they come out with such nonsense and are brainwashed to the core. Had it been a different day or time, maybe I would've gone into a Q&A with them.

Maybe next time :)

Anyways, background info:
Quote:
The Jehovah’s Witnesses is a secret organization that is apparently Christian but Jewish in reality. It was founded in 1874 in America by Charles Russell, and so came to be known as “Russellism”. They are called the new students of the Bible. They are known as the “watchtower”. Then, their name became “Jehovah’s Witnesses”. Jehovah is the god of the children of Israel as repeated in their Torah.

One of the objecives of this organization is to spread immoral chaos, abandoning all human virtues, they do not believe in the Hereafter, Judgment, Punishment, Paradise, Hell, etc. They have an extensive activity in many countries especially in the Islamic countries.

Some European countries became aware of their danger and consequently banned their activity. Due to their intense scheming, they work in many countries in various ways. They cooperate with the Jewish organizations which work under various slogans.

Accordingly, it is a dangerous Jewish organization, which hides itself behind Christianity and is hostile to Muslims. Thus, it is impermissible to deal with them since it is like any other Jewish organization.

Allaah Knows best.

Bismillah.

Not sure that is entirely accurate.

JW is a Christian cult. Which most Christians consider to be heretic.
It was founded in the 19th century.

The founder Charles Taze Russell, was a Christian Zionist. And believed the Jews should be relocated to Palestine to establish their homeland of Israel and even lobbied for it. He died in 1916.

Some decades after his death they started writing against Zionism. And started preaching Zionist ideology is influenced by Satan.

They are known for many failed end of time predictions.

They are regarded as heretics because they do not believe in the Trinity. They believe Jesus was a lesser God and the first creation of their main God Jehovah in pre-eternity.

Their preaching centres are known as Kingdom Halls. They do not have a clergy but a group of Elders at each of their centres. That is a committee of elder males that run each center. They are dictated to by their head quarters called The Watchtower society in New York. Which is also their publishing house.

They do not celebrate Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, etc. Which they regard as pagan festivals. They also do not allow blood transfusions for their injured and ill. They consider the consumption of human blood to be forbidden in any form . That is how they first started making headlines, allowing members to die rather then receive a blood transfusion.

Their members are told to only interact with other members of JW in their social lives. Not to keep friends outside their group. And only marry other JW.

They also have a strict code of conduct. And members can be expelled by elders, if they are expelled they are shunned, the people within the group are forbidden to have any contact with shunned members even if they are relatives. They consider themselves non-political do not vote in elections or support political candidates or parties.

As for their preaching adult members are expected to speak to a certain number of people each week about Jehovah.

As for the above question “How do you see your future” questions like that are just used as an icebreaker. It then gives them an opportunity to preach their beliefs, and the concept of the hereafter.

If you start asking questions they are taught not to engage with you “because these questions are from Satan and could mislead them.” They will normally respond that they do not have the answer but will ask permission to bring one of their elders with them the next time. To speak to you.

If they comeback with an elder and you start asking difficult questions. They will leave and most likely not return and consider your words to be influenced by Satan.

They will offer their literature but either refuse to take literature on Islam if offered. Or If they perchance do take it in order not to offend you. They will not read it and dispose of it.

They are amongst the most committed of the Christian preaching groups. Have almost daily study circles of their bible.
And the regular members are generally harmless and sincere towards their beliefs. And usually they are very friendly and polite in their interactions when preaching. Well that’s how they are taught to preach.

From my brief interactions with them back in the 1990’s the ones I had come across had heard of Shaykh Ahmed Deedat. He had regular encounters with their preachers. From what I could tell they had been told to avoid any Muslim who brings up his name.

As for them being controlled by Jews/Zionists it is certainly possible their headquarters and senior leadership are controlled. Certainly a group like this would be
a prime target for their funding.

And ALLAH knows best.
