Assalamu Alaykum,

I have a story about Sainsbury's supermarket lying. However, I am unable to post links to share the story. Can someone please help me share links on this forum?

The Sainsbury's solicitor refused to allow me to publish the company's responses to my allegations.

I have evidence that the company is rogue and dishonest.

The video gives no information about anything. The term "The Supermarket" is used so much it's difficult understand and follow what's actually happened.

The way to represent clearly is to state:
what you expected,
what you got or didn't get,
what the contract was,
what they breached and then take it from there with the details and evidence.

I was lost within 15 seconds of the video but it just got worse after.

Please don't mind this feedback, I'm hoping it helps you with your case.

The problem is that Sainsbury's has threatened to take legal action against me if I reveal certain details. I had originally planned to show screenshot images of emails from Sainsbury's. Sainsbury's has not given me permission to publish any of their material.

The problem is that I am having to explain something without being allowed to show Sainsbury's responses.

Basically, Sainsbury's breached a term of the contract. I was unaware at the time that my contract was breached. When I did eventually find out some time later (a few years later) that my contract was breached, I contacted Sainsbury's. My case was eventually sent to Sainsbury's solicitor who denied things that I had in writing. Sainsbury's has also not made clear to me how their solicitor obtained my contact details.

Sainsbury's handbook states that the handbook is contractual. Sainsbury's dismissed me after taking disciplinary action against me. Sainsbury's didn't follow their disciplinary procedure stated in the handbook.

I was shocked to see that Sainsbury's solicitor was trying to argue that my dismissal wasn't really under the disciplinary process and that the handbook was not contractual.

Also, the managers conducting my dismissal were acting dishonestly and were not writing down everything I was saying and were not listening to me.

The UK justice system is inadequate. There is no adequate support available. I have been to many law centres but there is no affordable assistance available.

Sainsbury's is rogue and I do not know how I can let the public know about this.

Use legal means or tweet about it. Hash tag them if you are allowed

I have already tried to use legal means. Sainsbury's has destroyed some of the evidence (this is mentioned in my video in my second post above).

As far as I know, there's no such thing. If you can back it up, warning others is not illegal. If it was, business reviews online would be illegal. If they have a company listing on google or trust pilot, post a review there. They can't do anything if you post about it as there's no ongoing case so nothing is confidential.

UK justice system doesn't get you justice. It doesn't exist. All you can do is buy decisions in your favour. If you can't afford the decision going in your favour, the next best thing is to publish it clearly online. Write the statement, send it to them and tell them if it's not looked into correctly within 14 days, you won't pursue it but you will post that document online. I've done that once or twice and it does work. It won't work if you're wrong. If you're right, it will.

That is a good suggestion. The problem is that some of the material I am relying on is in the employee document, contract and in emails from Sainsbury's solicitor whilst there was a likelihood that formal legal action would be initiated. I was wondering if I could share those as well?

Is anyone able to help me with publishing a review about Sainsbury's and spreading the information so that many people can see it? I can supply further information privately to anyone who is interested in assisting me.

Bismillah.

I am not sure what you mean by help publishing a review. (Reviews can be done anonymously).

You will find reviews by former or current employees of various companies on the internet including Supermarket chains some positive and some very negative. For example the job search website Indeed.co.uk. has reviews by employees for most companies.

The following as an example is for Tescos...
uk.indeed.com/cmp/Tesco/reviews

Furthermore what is your objective or what end result are you looking for? From what I understand from your above posts your dispute with this company happened some years ago. A formal apology? re-instatement of employment? Compensation?

If you believe you are a victim of unfair dismissal you can normally take a case to a tribunal. Given this happened some time ago I am not sure if that is still an option.

What has the company threatened you with if you publish material? Copyright infringement? or is it defamation.?

Normally these kind of threats are just bluster in order to scare and silence current and former employees. The cost of suing some one for something this minor is not worth it normally they settle what ever dispute they have out of court.

The fact the company has a solicitor responding on their behalf, probably means they are scared of publicly being exposed. Which I presume also means you have a strong case, hence the intimidation.

As others have advised contact a solicitor who is a specialist in employment law. Especially if your dismissal has negatively impacted you and impeded your employment prospects.
