My question "eagerly" who is your favorite Sheikh?

I mean those who only speak Arabic; Can you understand their words?

Bismillah.

As-Saalamu Alaykum.

Considering majority of members on here can only understand English and Urdu you have given a very narrow criteria.

Arabic speaking only... Taking into fact that elders have advised us, to only praise those who have passed away and not the living. I will say the late blind Shaykh from Egypt... Shaykh Abdal Hamid Kishk رحمة الله عليه. Thats just based on the subtitles and translation of his speeches. And the sound of his voice.

This is the first time I've heard of Shaykh Abdul Hameed Kiskhk (RA).

That was a very powerful video clip of the Shaykh (RA) preaching from the pulpit.

Brother Abdur Rahman bin Awf has been posting the most beneficial posts of this Ramadan, mashallah.

Bismillah.

May ALLAH reward you for your feedback my brother. And if anything is of benefit then all praise is due to ALLAH alone.

Shaykh Abdal Hamid Kishk رحمة الله عليه was the most popular and famous Arabic speaker in the world. From the 1960's all the way to the 1980's. When he was banned from making speeches because of his criticism of Egyptian authorities.

The audio recordings of his speeches were copied and distributed in the millions across the world, and were played everywhere in households, bazaars, restaurants, on public buses in taxis. It is fair to say he inspired an entire generation.

He also fearlessly spoke out against the Egyptian regime for their oppression, and promotion of haram. Despite being blind he was imprisoned and severely tortured.

May ALLAH accept his sacrifices for the deen and grant him the highest of ranks ameen.

Here is a short 25 minute biographical documentary on the life of the Shaykh رحمة الله عليه.

Not that I am aware of. I normally put the name of particular Shaykh and search with English Subtitles
Then watch and listen to what is available.

For example I will put... "Shaykh Saleh al Maghamsi with English subtitles.." in the search.

Several clips like the following will come up in the selection.

If this was for Quran recitation, then my favourite is Egyptian, Shaykh Muhammad Jibreel.

I fell in love with his recitation when I heard his voice in Madinah in a shop in 1995. Ever since, I've heard his entire recitation of the Qur'an. Met him personally, prayed Taraweeh behind him, prayed Jummah behind him in the UK.

If you are referring to lectures in Arabic, then I've only really heard their lectures in English :(
