Summary of Urdu talk above:

Pakistani ruling class stress the importance of English as the medium of education. Bangladesh put great emphasis on their native language, Bangla. They teach their children in their native language. Ulama in Bangladesh translate Arabic and Urdu Islamic texts into the Bangla language so that these texts are available to the common Bangla speaking Muslim.

Bangladesh has made great strides in improving its economy. Earlier, their currency was valued lower than the Pakistani rupee, but now the taka is stronger than the Pakistani rupee. Bangladesh has become the second largest exporter of ready made garments after China globally.

Mufti Rafi Sahab DB tells us the story of a Bangladeshi alim who graduated from a madrasa in Pakistan. He returned to Bangladesh after graduation but was unable to find a teaching position in a madrasa in Bangladesh. So, in order to earn a living, he set up a ready made garment factory in partnership with someone else. The business took off, so much so that the alim bought out his partner to become sole owner of the business. The alim told Mufti Sahab DB that he currently employs 4000 workers and did business worth a few billion takas in the last business cycle.

So the moral of the story is to learn in your native language to be more successful in terms of teaching Islamic studies in your own country. Otherwise, you end up giving up your religious teachings and become a business man, a successful one at that too if you are honest and upright?

That is your version of moral of the story.

Mufti Rafi Usmani sahib db has bigger message for ummah here.

And many members with knowledge of Urdu have received and they have understood that message.
