The shaykh said:

Someone asked me what about cursing Yazeed.

I replied "it is valid for a person who guarantees that he will die in better state than Yazeed"

We don't know what will be our condition at the time of death, we are still sailing, Allah knows better whether we reach our destination safely. After knowing this how can we do takfeer or tafseeq of others.

The Shias are eligible. They will all die in a better state than Yazeed on account of their pious mourning.

Summarised a part of hadith:

In this dua Rasulullah SAS is supplicating; Ya Allah!! as a human if I have cursed a Momin; in return, shower your Rahmah on the Momin, clean the Momin from his sins and grant the Momin your proximity.

The position of Ahlus Sunnah is to refrain from cursing yazeed. Scholars are united upon the opinion of yazeed being a fasiq, a sinner, but they stop short of sending curses upon him, because only a disbeliever is eligible to be cursed.

No, a Muslim can be cursed but it has to go through a lot of stages and evidence has to be dead-set, without ambiguity etc.

Invoking "curses" specifically against a Muslim does nothing but satisfy egos and express anger in most situations. In the case of Maulana Salman Nadwi (HA), what does cursing him achieve?

It is STUPID to start Maulana Salman Nadwi (HA) instead of investing and taking the time to emphatically destroy his position Academically in Arabic, Urdu and English but those cursing him are incapable of doing so.

This reminds of a "Maulana" from UK and he cannot quote anything direct from Maulana Maududi (RA), has no knowledge about his books or quotes but has been issuing curses for decades. The net result of these curses is that majority of people turn away while lifelong Deobandees enjoy the "curses" and repeat it parrot fashion.

The objective should be to "defend the Sahabah (RA)", the objective isn't to curse.

Cursing is easy!

During Dars session, question are asked by sub-Continent pilgrims to Maulana Makki sab about the shortcomings of local Arabs.

In his reply, Maulana Makki sab gets wild. He says, you are on a pilgrimage, take care of what you have accumulated here.

Regarding Arabs... A small trigger can reverse their lives, in the middle of night he goes to multazam and profusely cries and clears his sins.
Wait.... your sin of geebah can't get erased, because you will never realize it to be a sin. And you don't know to how to erase that particular sin.

My view... Maulana Salman Nadvi erred here... But we have hope, his ilm will guide him that he was on error or scholars around him can make him to realize his error. He has knowledge on how to erase the damage of of error, he knows how to compensate for the error he made.

But what about me?

Because the passport, facilities and salary of Hazrat Makki (HA) is paid by the Saudi Government. The slightest disagreement will result in Ulama being sent to Jail or deported.

Don't argue with me because I have lived, worked and studied in Saudi Arabia from the students of Shaykh Bin Baz (RA) and you have not.

But knowing your Nafs, you will keep arguing.

I quote from a shaykh:
A person makes a mistake. Other group who differ with him indulges in more terrific mistakes.
Geebah, buhtaan, presenting the mistake as an act of kufr or shirk. The group is responsible for these major sins.

So let us present the mistake without masala (salt and pepper)

It makes us feel proud that we have among us a member who has studied under students of shaykh bin baaz RA.
But that doesn't influence me to conclude about honesty of
Makki sab opinion in my quote.
Because we can make out from his face expression when he is under pressure.

Also we have read and listened from subcontinent ulema a similar opinion.

Makki sab also had told that
Hujjaj and zaireen from all countries bring their contagious diseases here and the locals have to suffer.

And you spy on your host.

As I said, you will keep on arguing without facts.

I did not say that Maulana Makki (HA) is dishonest, I said I know how the system works in Saudi Arabia from experience and you do not.
