Why has Maulana Salman Nadvi changed.

May be some 10 years back I had listened to Maualana Salman Nadvi in his 2 or 3 sessions. His bayan were very informative and encouraging. That time he didnâ€™t deviate from the general principles (usools) followed by Ahlussunnah, Deoband and Jamhoor Ulema.

He was in news for his bitter attitude against KSA regime. He argued with Indian supporters of the regime. Once he called these Indian supporters of KSA regime for Mubahila. And at the scheduled time of Mubahila he was present at the venue. (Mubahila is; both parties have to individually declare that I shall be dead if I am wrong in the particular issue).

Nowâ€¦.. is he hijacked?

or

is he overdoing things?

What went wrong with him.

Can members shed light on this. If I have to do this myself, I have to hear to his multiple bayans, I fear doing that.

I doubt many people know much about him on here to answer your question. My only guess is that he is doing qadha for his congratulatory letter to baghdadi.

In his clarification speech he has violently stressed on this.

Unfortunately he is doing this alone, he must have placed senior scholars or a guiding group above him to guide him. That would have helped him in correcting him when he erred.

But why extend his buguz for the KSA regime to the esteemed Sahaba رضي الله عنهم? Surely, that's the utmost stupidity.

He is using his Hussaini lineage to get closer to shia. I guess, he is claiming, we don't agree with banu Umaiyyah's high-handedness and misuse of power, but we hate your tabarrah majalis on khulafa-e-rashideen, ummahatul momineen and other sahabah.

But Ahlusunnah know that history will be repeated again; they will do 'taqiyyah' and as usual maulana will be back stabbed.

Maulana has rightly concluded that Israel can only be counted by a united Muslim front. For this unity, the Shia Sunni divide is the biggest obstacle. In his zeal to bring together Shia and Sunni, he unfortunately faltered. If he had the support and guidance of his seniors, his errors could be rectified. Unfortunately there are forces in Nadwa as there are forces in all Muslim institutions that work to sow discord among people of Haqq.

Speculation will only go against ourselves, better to avoid.

Someone made an error, correct it. Educate the people of the error. If forgiveness is seeked, let those people know that too. Don't repeat the error!

Habitual errors? Then warn others to stay away and not get defensive.

He was a big asset for Ahlusunnah and deoband.

We want him to get reformed and back with the main stream ahlusunnah.

For reformation, we need to know the real cause, but we are dealing with symptoms. If the real cause is known, we can assure him that we are with him in his genuine concern. And let us work for that cause in a better way. Of course without deviating from our principles.

If we disagree with Maulana's position, then why post further clips to highlight his errors? Also the clips are in Urdu, so without translation these clips are of little use to most members of this forum. Also, it is a forum rule that posts must be in English, or accompanied by English translations.
