  • You accuse us in India that we prostrate to stones but you also prostrate to stone structure Kabah.
  • If you say that you are not really prostrating to stone but to God then we also don't prostrate to stone but to god.
  • If you say that God ordered you to prostrate to Kabah then we also prostrate to stone because god told us to do the same.

Please answer in a systematic and logical manner as this is the latest assault on Indian Muslims from Hindus.

Assalamu alaikum

Pretty old argument from the Hindus.

Dr. Zakir Naik answers it here:

This is partial reply in urdu by Hakeemul ummath RA. Our reply can be build on this.

Every Hindu's wish is to achieve a state where a physical idol is not before him and god is before him and he worships god. Placing an idol before them is a beginning to finally achieve that.

Alhamdulillah our naa-baalig child achieves that state in his childhood itself.

I have read the same criticism about Muslims from Christians and Jews. Not only they raise this point about the Kaaba, they also point to our reverence for the Hajr-e-Aswad as worship of a stone that came from heaven.

Can any of you really blame the kuffar for such beliefs, keeping in mind what Muslims do at Hajj and Umrah, especially with regards to the Hajr-e-Aswad?

Also, with regards to the above replies, don't the Hindus say the same thing about their own idol worship? That we are actually worshipping the One God, but the idol is just a worldly representation for us to have something to turn towards?
