This mosques Qiblah location in Iceland seems to be correct, one would need to physically be there or know the mosque to know of an error.

Should you wish to do this video with actual examples, let me know, I know a couple here in London that could do with an adjustment :) One of them you've been to as far as I'm aware and another where the Qiblah direction was changed Alhumdulillah, my former Masjid.

The video is fine and enough of an explanation for someone to use, I know several Mosques with problems but don't want to mention them.

Well obviously this was something that those of us viewing the video in portrait mode on a 5.5" device in low res 144p would not be able to spot. Third world problems.

To be honest, I saw it in a screen a lot smaller but to get the screenshot, I switched to landscape on the mobile.

The map says clearly labelled where the mosque was with the symbol too.

This is not related to any error on the video;

Normally this happens, if there is communication gap between the questioner and solution giver, we may add more error.

When Icelanders say their qibla is 76 deg. We must ask them what 76 deg means. Like it could be as in the following image.

I can't post a question on other threads.

For more than a week I have browsed through many fatawa books, fatawa sites I didn't get reply for this.

The issue:

After addition of a new hall in our masjid, we are into a situation. The hall is adjacent to the existing masjid, left of Imam, in India qibla is towards west, the hall is in southern side.

1. the gap between two halls is filled by musallees forming a connecting saff , but due to wall, musallis in this saff stand about 8 inches in front of the last saff in masjid.

2. In the new hall where must be the first saff formed. Some say, start from last, this connects to the last row of existing masjid. Some say, start from first saff in the new hall.

3. Some say this creates chaos, close this new hall itself and use for juma'a only. Use the floors above the main masjid, after they are filled, move to new hall.

Masjid e Quba, Stamford Hill, London.

See here
www.muftisays.com/forums/55-members-research-group/6685-q...

When the Masjid was small, a fatwa was passed to allow for us to pray straight. As the Masjid expanded, the Qiblah remained straight. However, the ulama said that the ruling was no longer valid as the mosque was made bigger and we could compensate some loss of space, hence, Qiblah was corrected by almost 45°

Qiblah was changed there years ago.

The masjid used to be in Forburg Road and moved in late 70s to an old synagoge on Cazenove road. In 1985 the house on left hand side was bought and the NLMCC moved onto the house on right hand side. During early 1990's major construction works happened which joined the 2 gardens into 1 and a prayer hall was built across it, the qiblah mirrored the position of the old prayer hall in the house. It was still within 45 degrees but on advice of ulema, it was changed in mid noughties.
