Let them do what they want. Just go there for your fard hajj and come back home to work on muslims in your locality.

There are only 20 million of them which is same number as the muslims in bihar alone.

We didn't had any concern about happenings in Dubai or Kuwait. We were presenting Saudia as a model of a Islamic society. And we were boasting of barakaath of an Islamic society.

And our concern is Haramain Sharifain. This year's Haj, a lady representative of Haj affairs was briefing about haj arrangements.

Or do we have create Haramain as a separate entity like the Vatican city.

Stop presenting saudi arabia as a model state. It's an Al Saud private limited company.

You can't separate haramain like vatican is but you can treat it like one in your mind if you want.

There are more muslims in the indian subcontinent than the whole of the middle east. Lets create a model society here and stop looking over there because nothing will change.

I quote from Ali Mian Nadvi RA here:

Along with Islam’s Aqaid we have to present Islamic culture, family system of Islam to the West.

The western culture is moving fast towards its downfall, we are witness to this. The reason for this downfall is; the family system has collapsed.

The confidence, love/affection among husband and wife is lost. Many thinkers and philosophers are concerned; they are writing books on how to save the western society from total collapse. How to rebuild the love /affection and trust among family members, this is real enjoyment in life. If this exists, they will bear everything and live happily with empty stomach.

In our countries in the east, people hardly get food, but they live as if they are in heaven, why? there is love/trust among family members. They look at each other’s face and forget their starving and hardships.

But here (the west), they have all the resources, they have acquired, conquered and mastered many universal forces; But they could not bring change in their inner souls, could not change their homes into jannath, heaven.

The arguments for and against women working are both good in their places and times.

Or mother was a great business women, so using her methods, why can't our women of today be like her?

Quote:
Her policy was to employ hardworking, honest and distinguished managers to deal on her behalf as a lot depended on the integrity of the employees who traveled far and wide on her behalf. She exported her goods to far away markets like Syria, and her managers bought goods from those markets to be sold at home.

Quote:
She had a keen eye and was highly intuitive, earning the monikers, Ameerat Quraysh (Princess of Quraysh) and al-Tahira (The Pure One) due to her stellar reputation. No doubt she was a woman of capabilities and power in her-self. Khadija (pbuh) knew what she was doing business-wise, never compromising her modesty or integrity to succeed in the male-dominated trades.

Quote:
There is no doubt that this great woman of all wonders ‘Khadijah (pbuh) was a great leader, had high magnitude skills of business and home making, Khadijah left the business to help poor and people who were in need. By her will, knowledge and support ’Khadijah Al Kubra proved her as a great companion and loving mother and a great ideal for the women of all times

I quote from my earlier post:

About 617,000 women left the workforce in September alone, compared with only 78,000 men, according to government data released Friday. Half of the women who dropped out were in the prime working age of 35-44.

unquote:

1. this means 617,000 women got closer to their children. Children are getting quality time from their mothers. These children would wish this epidemic to continue.

2. These families are surviving. The mantra for survival is, these families have returned to basic needs, their desires can wait. This is what Islam preaches, that, no one can claim, even the wealthiest and most powerful in the world, that all my desires were fulfilled. All our desires will be fulfilled in Jannah. So let us build a better jannah where we are going to live eternally.

Shaykh Ali Mian Nadvi RA says (summarized) "Let us establish a society where, people from all over the world shall visit us to witness how people are really enjoying their stay on this planet". (We may not have all the luxuries, technologies and power with us.)

This is in response to : www.muftisays.com/forums/27-sharing-portal/5907-makkah-ne...

This is taken from Central Mosque: by Mufti Taqi Usmani DB

The line of action of researches of the Institute of Islamic research is quite in contradiction to this. On the one hand they pre-supposed that the thirteen hundred years old laws of Islam have now become worn out and outdated, and it is not possible to implement and comply with them unless some fundamental changes are made in them (They call these changes as “New Interpretations”). And on the other hand it has rooted deep into their minds that ideological and practical expositions of Western civilization are all blessings and benedictions, and unless Muslims accept them in toto their survival in the present time is impossible.

The entire intellectual structure of Modernism has been constructed on the above two hypotheses. As a result, the style of their working has been that any ideology or style of working from the West is first taken as granted to be cent per cent right and there is no way out for us in the present time than to accept it and adopt it. Their ‘Research’ is then wholly directed towards proving it to be in conformity with Islam, by reshaping and distorting Islamic teachings and even by changing the established commandments of Islam. They do not hesitate in denying the prophetic traditions, or write down a new dictionary to give new meanings to the verses of the Qur’an

I was reading about Rayyanah Barnawi the first Arab female astronaut onboard International Space Station. Great......

Many claim she will induce bigger dreams for saudi women.

How?

She is just an ordinary passenger, ticket sponsored by the govt.

There are many Muslim brothers in India/UK/USA/Europe who are more qualified in Space sciences. They cannot afford a ticket to Space ship.

Malaysian women have have better knowledge of Aeronautical engineering and space sciences. But they represent a developing country. Malaysian government gives more priority to giving jobs to their countrymen, propaganda is secondary for them.

Please maintain respect for each other and Ulamaa (if topic is about a scholar) by avoiding accusations and slanderous comments. Also remember that in order for criticism to be constructive, it must be channeled in the right direction. If there is any doubt in a matter, it is better to ask, clarify or to remain silent rather than to speak ill of another person.
