Are there any maps of the actual affected areas within Karachi?

I spoke to my in laws yesterday and they only asked if we'd seen the news about the flooding in Karachi. They didn't seem to have been affected. Apparently the others were out shopping for Muharram.

They live in Malir, Karachi.

They live in Malir and weren't affected? That's a blessing in itself. As far as I had heard, Malir was one of the worst-affected areas.

Its called "Ghayrat" and many people don't accept help. We need to understand people's sensibility and don't force things down their throat.

We offer help and then let them make their own decisions.

I understand that and that's ok.

But help can be provided in several ways without affecting people's sensitivities. They can be put in touch with relevant people for their issues like if there's water in their area, suction pumps can be arranged for them etc. But still if someone doesn't need ANY kind of help, that's also fine.

I spoke to my father in law and he said that they have been affected but very little, Alhumdulillah.

When I spoke to them on Saturday, they were talking about the Shia going out for their "Juloos" that's why I was wondering how bad it was.

They live in Malir between Ja'far Tiyar and Malir 15.

It's never too bad for a Juloos, especially when it's about insulting the Sahaba رضي الله عنه.
