One of my aunties has Alzheimers and there whole house is ruined. Pakistan Army had to rescue them in a Boat.

Another Aunity is missing without contact for 2 days, no phone calls.

Government has shut down Electricity because one of the largest cities in the world is under water and turning electricity will mean that hundreds can be killed by electrocution. Mobile Service is disabled because Towers are out of power.

Karachi floods: Pakistan's biggest city hit by record rain and heavy floods

Pakistan is seeing the worst rainfall since records began 89 years ago. The annual monsoon rain is particularly bad this year and the city of Karachi is largely underwater,

Roads have turned to rivers, houses have been destroyed and people had to flee to shelters.

Everything from Sakhi Hasan to New Karachi is under water, North Karachi is devastated, New Karachi and Surjani Town is cut off from any support, electricity is gone for over 36 hours, mobile has been cut. PECHS has Pakistan Navy in inflatable boats riding on the Roads. DHA just got electricity back.

She is probably fine (Insha'Allah) but unable to use phones or contact anyone, nothing anyone can do except to make Dua.

Someone in the family lost every single thing in his house with serious damage to the house, the guy is crying on WhatsApp and doesn't know what to do.

There are loads of people who cannot contact their relatives back in Karachi.

Imran Khan was elected from Karachi and it provides 73% of Pakistan's revenue...Unbelievable mismanagement.

A group called "project Karachi" has been created on whatsapp as a platform for people affected by rains to connect with those willing to help. If any Karachiite needs any help or wants to help people in any way, shape, or form, DM me for the link.

It's "wadera raj" in Karachi. They won't do anything good for the citizens of Karachi themselves and try their utmost to stop others from doing anything as well. The goal is to keep the citizens as downtrodden as possible.

This whole fiasco should have ended a couple of years ago. These feudal lords should have been killed in "encounters".

Why hasn't anyone posted a scene from the locality of Bilawal House? Let the people see what kind of garbage rules over them.
