Kuwait’s royal court advisor - who’s on the board of trustees of this forum - says we “were not informed of this statement and NEVER dicussed this topic.

A statement issued by the Forum for Promoting Peace praising the Emirati-Israeli normalization agreement. The person whose image appears to the right of the Mufti of Egypt is Dr. Abd al-Maatuq, advisor to the Emir of Kuwait, who issued a statement denying discussion of this matter or any political matter, and declared that he was not aware of the contents of the statement.

See who else in the picture were deceived?

Let us all make dua.

Ya Allah make the countries who have real concern for ummah to get self sufficient. Open up for them the Lithium mineral resources, gas and oil reserves.

Let the charity move from these countries to Arabs the way it used to happen in last century.
The way Tipu's grand grand daughter fully sponsored and established madrasahs in haramain.
Ya Allah nothing is impossible in your qudrath.

24AUG2020: UAE still not getting F-35!

www.axios.com/uae-f-35-arms-deal-israel-meeting-united-na...

The United Arab Emirates canceled a planned trilateral meeting with the U.S. and Israel last Friday to send a message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over his opposition to a pending arms deal between the U.S. and UAE, three sources with knowledge of the matter tell me.

Why it matters:
Just days after Israel and the UAE announced a landmark normalization deal, there has already been a spike in tensions.

The backstory: Israeli media reported that, as a condition of the deal, Netanyahu signed off on pending sales of F-35 fighter jets to the UAE. He denied those reports and publicly came out against the potential arms deal.

Prime Minister of Sudan rebuffs Mike Pompeo over normalising ties with Israel

Quote:
Sudanese Prime Miniser Abdalla Hamdok has told US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that his government had no mandate to normalise ties with Israel, and that any such move would be decided after the transitional period, according to a spokesman.

P.S: Mike Pompeo was supposed to address RNC (Trump) convention from Sudan, instead a recorded speech from Jerusalem Hotel was played because the agreement was not formalised with Sudan. This is the changed speech!

What does the discovery of new gas reserves in the Black Sea mean for Turkey

On August 21, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that Turkey had discovered the largest natural gas reserves in its history.

President Erdogan said that the gas reserves are 320 billion cubic meters which were discovered by a Turkish drilling ship which has been searching for gas in Turkish waters in the Black Sea since July 20.

Ever since the discovery, experts have been debating its potential economic and political implications. Rising tensions over natural resources in the Mediterranean are also a matter of debate

How was it announced?

This discovery was widely discussed by the government. President Erdoغانan said on August 19 that he would soon announce a new era.

Before and after President Erdogan's announcement, the government made a media storm that Turkey had discovered natural gas reserves in the Tuna One well in the Black Sea.

He said his goal is to start using the gas reserves by 2023. The year 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Turkey as a republic.

President Erdogan called the discovery of gas reserves the beginning of a new era for Turkey

How important is this?

According to the Turkish state news agency Andolo, Turkey needs 45 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually.

Turkey currently produces only one percent of its gas and imports the remaining 99 percent from Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran through pipelines. It also imports liquefied natural gas from the United States, Norway, Qatar and Algeria.

According to Turkey's nationalist opposition newspaper, the new reserves will be enough in 2019 for the next seven years in terms of the country's gas consumption. The total value of these new gas reserves is likely to be 80 80 billion, but پیداوار 6 billion is needed to invest in its production.

But censor Emer, an energy policy expert, told an opposition newspaper that Turkey did not currently have the technology and capability to extract the gas.

Turkish journalist Mustafa Karaliغlu, citing OPEC figures, said the discovery would make Turkey 32nd in the world in terms of gas reserves. ۔

How will this benefit the Turkish economy?

Announcing on August 21 that President Erdoغانan had promised to continue his efforts to find gas reserves, he said that the main reason for the current account deficit in Turkey has always been energy shortages.

Turkish Finance Minister and President Erdoغانan's son-in-law Beirut Al-Berik says the discovery will push Turkey out of its current account deficit and into a surplus.

Economist Mohamed Brasilioglu told the Andalo News Agency that the initial discovery in the Black Sea would help Turkey reduce its external dependence on fuel.

But some experts have warned of the economic consequences.

Energy expert and engineer Nakedet Pamir has warned against premature rejoicing. He said that before estimating the volume of this reservoir, it is necessary to drill enough wells.

The Pamirs also expressed skepticism about the 2023 target. Mehdan Siglam, a columnist for the Independent Gazette Dover News website, wrote in a tweet in response to the Turkish Finance Minister's statement that 320 billion cubic meters of natural gas does not make anyone rich
