I have read the Washington Post article

www.nytimes.com/2019/06/02/world/middleeast/crown-prince-...

However, the crux and thrust of the video is Saudi Arabia using its position (as Custodian of Haramain) and in cohorts with the Ulama deceiving the Ummah since 1926. In the context of the Ummah, UAE or MBZ does not carry the same cut and thrust in the Sunni world as Saudi Arabia and MBS.

Saudi Arabia has ace'd the art of deceiving the Sunni Muslims from 1926 (first Conference on Khilafah) where they tried to replace the Ottomans until now.

Saudees use the Imams of Haramain for political means. The Imams of Haram turn up at Salafi Mosque for Maghrib (Monday) and there are literally thousands of people falling over themselves to pray Maghrib when there is no evidence from the Qu'raan and Sunnah and no extra merit but this is the political clout which Saudees hold and keep on wielding it.

And keep using it to defuse every opportunity on the world stage (whether Muslim or Non-Muslim) to defuse the voice of Palestinians and Kashmirees.

UAE, Bahrain etc are mere poodles which Saudia uses expertly to nudge the Arabs in a different direction while staying squeaky clean and retaining the leadership of the Sunni world.

Thus, in the context of this video and the argument MBZ is a poodle of MBS but you are right in the other sense since MBZ is older and around much longer etc, you obviously have a valid point.

Jazakallahu Khayran

Talk is that following UAE, other Arab states will announce normalizing relations with Israel.

Open the below link to read where mysterious israeli jets have landed lately

It lists:

The Arab leaders and governments, whether Saudi, Kuwait, UAE or Bahrain are obviously pro-West and pro-Israel. What about the populations of these countries? Do they follow the ideology of their leaders or not?

I can say, that in the case of Pakistan, we have had leaders who were very much pro-West like Musharraf. But the overwhelming majority of the population, except for the elite upper class, has always been anti-West and pro-Muslim and constantly criticize the government for licking the boots of the West.

What is the case with Arab populations?

A very crude generalization --

Richer Muslims are more pro West, poorer Muslims are more anti West.

End of generalization.

Not just Musharraf there are many in Pakistan who believe that relations with Israel should be normalised and when UAE (and others) do it they will put more pressure but the public is solidly against such an initiative.

Diplomacy should always continue as talking to even the worst enemy is part of Islam so "news" like the following could be true or could be planted by Mossad

Cannot be certain

I already suspected Pakistan would follow suit and honestly, it will be an unpopular opinion even in Pakistan, but I believe Pak should have some sort of diplomatic relations with Israel.
