That's damaging for us, the civilians. For the military, which had agreed to this entire facade in advance with the US and India, these are even less than acceptable losses. India understood that, the US understood that.

The Indian media made sure to include the snippet that no military asset was targeted, in their news. This wasn't a coincidence. Both sides understood that attacking the military would be actual war, anything else was just theater.

They're still calling it an act of war. Let's wait for a day or two for the military response. Don't be too quick to make an opinion right now.

The evidence that Pakistan facilitated the whole thing with both America and India..???

What about the previous attack a few years ago, was that also facilitated? And was that Tea drinking Indian pilot that was captured, was he really an Indian pilot? Or was he just a local guy from Punjab?

Very unlikely, Pakistan also has mirage 2000 jets and there has been speculation they may have shot down there own jet?

Speculation from whom?

This a very strange thread so far on this thread it is claimed in various comments.

(1) Pakistan facilitated and co-operated on an attack in collaboration with India and America.Upon it's own territory.

(2) Pakistan did not fire a single missile or launch a single fighter jet in response. Just made a series of propaganda statements on media.

(3) Pakistan did launch a Jet, and fired a missile and that struck its own jet.

And on what basis are you saying that? And why are the French officials accepting that Pakistan shot down Rafale when their stocks are already declining?

Pakistan says it shot down 12 Indian drones and 1 attacked military target

Pakistan’s army spokesman, Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif, said an Indian drone attacked a military target near Lahore overnight, wounding four soldiers, while the country’s air defense system intercepted and shot down 12 Indian drones that entered Pakistani airspace at various locations.

Meanwhile, India evacuated thousands of people from villages near the two countries’ highly militarized frontier in the disputed region of Kashmir.

Drones shot down in Pakistan
Pakistan’s army spokesman, Lt. Gen. Ahmad Sharif, said an Indian drone wounded four soldiers and partially damaged a military target near Lahore overnight, while the country’s air defense system intercepted and shot down 12 Indian drones that entered Pakistani airspace at various locations. He gave no further details about the attack.

He added that in southern Sindh province, one civilian was killed and another wounded when debris from downed drones fell in a populated area.

The incidents could not be independently verified, and Indian officials did not immediately comment.

In Lahore, local police official Mohammad Rizwan said a drone was downed near Walton Airport, an airfield in a residential area about 25 kilometers (16 miles) from the border with India that also contains military installations.

Local media reported that two additional drones were shot down in other cities of Punjab province, of which Lahore is the capital.

In Punjab’s Chakwal district, a drone cashed into farmland. No casualties were reported. District police chief Ghulam Mohiuddin did not say whose drone it was. Authorities have secured the wreckage and are investigating the drone’s origin and purpose.

Recap

Pakistan’s military says an overnight Indian drone attack on several locations killed one civilian and engaged military targets, wounding four troops.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “We will avenge the blood of our innocent martyrs” after at least 31 people were reported killed and dozens wounded in India’s attack on Punjab province and Pakistan-administered Kashmir yesterday.

Heavy exchanges of artillery fire have been reported along the Line of Control dividing Indian and Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

India says at least 13 people have been killed and more wounded in Indian-administered Kashmir due to Pakistani fire.

India says “Operation Sindoor” targeted “terrorist” infrastructure; Pakistan says missiles hit mosques and killed civilians in a blatant “act of war”.

Tensions have been escalating between the two nuclear-armed countries since a deadly attack in Indian-administered Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, which India blamed on Pakistan. Pakistan has denied any involvement.

Only insiders can get you the evidence, but this has been reported by a few independent analysts on their YouTube channels. They might have valid sources or not but according to them the US VP JD Vance relayed this message of the US to both Pakistan and India.

As for the previous occasion, you are missing the point of what I am indicating. The current Pak regime is a sham, imposed upon us through sham elections, having deep business ties with India and Modi himself. The chances of them orchestrating a "war" in collusion with Modi is far higher than Imran Khan doing so during his tenure. So yes, I am deeply skeptic of anything the puppet govt. says or the faasiq military says. And I am more inclined to believe those who have cast doubts upon this entire theater.

I have not even talked about some who reported from ISI whistleblowers that the Pahalgam attack in India was actually ordered by Asim Munir to gain sympathies from the public for the military, by creating a "war" scenario.

The truth will probably never come out but the cowardly military and the cowardly political regime is for all to see. They will never respond in kind India because they are afraid of war. Which by the way was exactly what the current defence minister of Pak, Khawaja Asif said about Bajwa regarding last time. That when India attacked he was trembling in his pants.

War is really a game of nerves more than anything else. These days, the way media affects people, it’s like everyone is on edge all the time, super emotional, quick to react, and kind of stuck in their thinking. That’s why people flip out over every little thing. But honestly, that’s not how folks with real faith are supposed to act.

Now, take what India has been doing: sending drones and those loitering munitions into Pakistan’s airspace. It’s like they’re trying to prove they still control the skies after getting beat in that last air fight. It’s not just about military stuff; it’s psychological too. They’re testing Pakistan's defenses, trying to provoke a response, basically trying to drag them into a fight on their terms.

The smart move for Pakistan is to not take the bait. Stay calm, take whatever is thrown their way without losing focus, and stick to the bigger plan. Show they can respond at the right time, in the right way, without letting emotions run the show.

The videos of drones in Lahore, Pindi and Karachi make it seem like India is using drones for suicide attacks. So I'm not quite sure if they were downed by Pakistan.

Quote:
A surveillance drone can cost anywhere from $500 to $5,000,
while the interceptor missile used to shoot it down can cost millions.

If India is sending dozens or even hundreds of drones towards Pakistan, its objectives are very clear:

1. To locate Pakistani air defense systems — when an interceptor missile is launched, it easily compromises the exact location it was fired from.

2. To use these low-cost drones as decoys in order to waste expensive and limited-stock interceptor missiles — so that by the time a real attack is launched, most air defense missiles have already been used up.

3. To create maximum chaos — forcing the public to question where our air defense system is and what it’s doing.

Therefore... use your head!

Don’t wonder how these drones are reaching so deep past the border. Remember:
Cheap drones are brought down using low-tech air defense measures like anti-aircraft guns, regular firearms, and MANPADS (shoulder-launched missiles).
And — all of these have a limited range.
So, the forces often have no choice but to let the drone get close enough to enter the range of these low-tech defenses before engaging.

Furthermore…
If you hear explosions, stay calm. Not every blast is an attack — most of today's explosions occurred during interceptions.

Also…
The sound of intense gunfire may simply mean that anti-aircraft guns or other firearms are being used to shoot down a drone.

So — avoid creating chaos.

And — absolutely do not post pictures or video clips of these incidents on social media, because doing so would be helping the enemy.
