Pakistan's security sources confirm that the Indian drones inside Pakistan's territory are the ones that were dispatched before the ceasefire, and they are being intercepted. Clearing them from our airspace will take some time. The ceasefire is intact, but the LoC is very hot!

Just watched that Shabazz Shareef speech today.
He seemed more like a hostage begging for his ransom to be paid then a Leader speaking in defence of his country. Probably more like Leader declaring the surrender of his nation to the enemy.

If he does not have the confidence to speak like a war time leader, he should send someone in his cabinet to do the job.

There can simply be no comparison between launching missiles from 200 kilometers away from the border with 70 jets including Rafales and entering enemy territory with 40 jets, striking, and returning without any losses. Unless, of course, it’s a Bollywood film then anything is possible."

Quote:
The way the Pakistan Air Force completely shattered not only the Indian Air Force but also India’s air superiority is truly astonishing. India not only possesses the world’s best 4.5-generation fighter jet but also has a deadly air defense system like the S-400. Even so, striking the enemy’s aerial power without sustaining any losses is an extraordinary achievement.

For China, this entire scenario was a perfect strategic opportunity, which it capitalized on to the fullest. This war has allowed China to emerge as a leader in the global arms market. Its J-10C fighter jets and PL-15 missiles have proven their worth. Surely, attractive global deals now await China.

This air superiority has severely crushed the morale of the Indian government. The political mileage Modi was hoping to gain from the situation has backfired. What is most encouraging is that the Modi administration is now facing sharp criticism and tough questions within India. This is a breath of fresh air for the region.

In my view, the war hasn’t cooled off yet. It will continue to evolve and take on new forms, influencing not just regional but also global politics. Each new day will bring a new development.

This is what Indian media reports. (a few words are swapped)

Indian air force could enter nuclear powered country and do damages.

The way the Indian Air Force completely shattered not only the pakistan Air Force but also pakistan's air superiority is truly astonishing. Pakistan not only possesses the world’s best fighter jet F-16's but also has a deadly air defense system. Even so, striking the enemy’s aerial power without sustaining considerable losses is an extraordinary achievement.

For Russia, this entire scenario was a perfect strategic opportunity, which it capitalized on to the fullest. This war has allowed Russia to emerge as a leader in the global arms market. Its S-400 have proven its worth. Surely, attractive global deals now await Russia.

This air superiority has severely crushed the morale of the Pakistani government. The local political mileage Sharif was hoping to gain from the situation has backfired. What is most encouraging is that the Sharif's administration is now facing sharp criticism and tough questions within Pakistan. This is a breath of fresh air for the region.

In my view, the war hasn’t cooled off yet. It will continue to evolve and take on new forms, influencing not just regional but also global politics. Each new day will bring a new development.

Most international media, especially those who study defense tactics and strategy see the whole episode as an embarassment for India.

Chinese J10 fighters performed better, then the french Rafaele, the russian air defence system was overwhelmed.

Godi Media might be working in overdrive to try to salvage Modi Governments reputation. The fact is this was a humiliation.

Even "India Today" channel acknowledged this.
youtu.be/TZIxjkLoroY?feature=shared

Assessment from "India Today" is India was worried about the economic damage to India. And quickly lobbied for ceasefire.

India's main priority at the moment is becoming one of the worlds most powerful economies.

As Janes Defence weekly wrote many years ago, Pakistan main strategy has been to focus on quality over quantity.

.
That is the real reason.
Friday, stock market nose dived.
.
More than the loss of lives, economic losses dictate policy makers.

This point to be noted by international community

While Pakistan is already bankrupt, it has nothing to lose further.

And ultimately that is what Military Strategy 101 is about.

(1) Turning your weakmess into your strength.
(2) Not entering a conflict if you are not willing to make a sacrifice.

The most generous thing one could say about Indias mis-adventure is that purely from a reconnaisance (research) point of view. They now know how strong the Pakistan defence is. And they know the weak links in their own defences. Tactically the ceasefire was the smart and intelligent thing to do, they can go back to the drawing board, rectify their own weaknesses, and have a plan to make holes and breaches through Pakistans strengths.

The Ace card for India in the future would be is to become economically powerful to the level they can tell other countries and their corporations if you want to do business with us. You cant do business with Pakistan.

This is how Americas sanction regime works with Iran, North Korea,
Cuba, and elsewhere.

The Indian military didn’t want things to escalate. Senior defence officials had warned the political leadership early on that an air strike inside Pakistan would be risky, and they couldn’t guarantee it would go smoothly. Because of that, Modi initially kept his distance from the operation, waiting to see how it would unfold.

Well, the outcome came, and it was a blow. India lost a Rafale in combat, marking the first time one of its Rafales had been taken down, and that too without even entering Pakistani airspace. That loss caused panic. Suddenly, there was pressure to show that the political leadership was still in charge. So they pushed for escalation, ordering drone swarms and launching projectiles.

Pakistan’s large scale response made it very clear they were not backing down.

So what did India really gain? Just another tough lesson in how real conflict works. Once you are actually on the battlefield, all those polished war plans fall apart. It is always a mistake to overestimate your own strength and underestimate your opponent.

In all of this, the Indian military has been the more cautious one. They did not want a war. They knew the realities on the ground. But certain political circles had other ideas.

And those images of funerals coming out of Pakistan? That was not just grief, it was a direct message from their military: “We are not shaken. We are sticking to our stance, even after your strike.”

If India wants a real way forward, it is time for quiet, direct talks behind closed doors. Because let us be honest, what has been tried so far clearly has not worked.

Quote:
I assert this with absolute conviction, having consulted three authoritative figures from the U.S. State Department, Department of Defense, and Pentagon, who are closely monitoring the India-Pakistan conflict. Their unanimous assessment is that the current ceasefire represents a strategic pause by India, intended for restocking, regrouping, and reassessing targets, reflecting a shift in Indian military doctrine. When I proposed a 20-day timeline, they unanimously disagreed, estimating a shorter duration of approximately two weeks or less, and noted that India’s strategic targeting of Pakistan’s rear air force bases signals insecurity and an intent to exploit these vulnerabilities again.

They emphasized that Pakistan requires clear strategic foresight and well-defined objectives to navigate this crisis effectively. This pause, they caution, is a prelude to India’s calculated escalation, underscoring the need for Pakistan’s resolute preparedness.
