Someone asked Imam Muhammad RA (The famous disciple of Imam Abu Hanifah RA), Your books have covered all branches of life, but a compilation on Taswwuf/Zuhd is missing.


Imam Muhammed RA replied, my book "Kitab ul Buyoo" is book on Tasawwuf.

His message is that; Ahkaam of Business transactions, dealings are in reality the ahkaam of Tasawwuf. Because, the real Tasawwuf and Zuhd is to strictly follow shariah. And to strictly follow shariah means to follow ahkaam of business transactions and dealings.

Similarly the islah of a tablighi is incomplete without strictly following ahkaam of Muamilaath, Muashirath and Akhlaq (interaction which each other, social dealings, Good character)

What is Tasawwuf?

Shaykh replied "Tasawwuf is to correct niyyath/intentions"
