Sad to hear of these work place accidents in the UK whereby the casualties highlighted are our West African brothers. The hardships it has brought to their families who they were supporting through their work.
I went to Gambia and Senegal a few years ago. An eye opener to see how some people live and the hardships they go through.
It was also good to experience the West African culture in relation to Islam. How it is quite common for men to have more than one wife and their females are relaxed with husband's having more than one wife.
I remember some people couldn't understand when I said I only had one wife and were scratching their head when I said I don't plan to marry again!
I tried to explain by saying it's not common to have more than one wife in the South Asian community and the answer I was getting back was Islam allows it, it's halal so why do you lot not marry more!
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
