Ottomans were the biggest drama Queens in the Ummah and still are, listen to the Duas and Adhan... :lol

When you pray in Turkish Mosques (even today) Jumuah is like a choreographed passing out Parade with each and every step coordinated and synchronised.

The strongest martial race at the junction of Europe and Asia and Allah Ta'ala blessed them Islam which took their already bloated egos and minds to the next level, Alhumdolillah

Those who have never prayed behind Turks are probably listening to this and thinking, "What in the world is going on?" :P

Salaam

Any notable people attending the prayers, especially from the international community?

Who received personal invites? Who accepted and who declined?

In the Hanafi Madhab, the Imam may lean on a Sword while delivering the Sermon in lands captured by Jihad

I have read it, first time I have actually seen it!

Mufti Yasir Nadeem al Wajidi wrote:
The sword in his hand is giving a clear and loud message. The oppressors won't let you have what you own if you are weak. 85 years later, The Imam is able to lead in #HagiaSophia because civilized Muslims in #Turkey regained power through education and their pride in the past.

This Imam with his head down in humbleness is challenging all the apologetic Muslims who have been mourning since the recovery of #HagiaSophia. The apologetic behavior has no place in the cruel world. You must claim your rights.

Now this is the kind of posing from Muslims that really gets the adrenaline flowing. A clear message to the kuffar of the world and to the minions of Dajjal, that no matter how much you try to marginalize and defame the noble act of Jihad, we were and still are ready to die for the sake of Allah, come what may.

May Allah trigger the ghairah of our Arab brothers too upon seeing this display. If anyone can truly lead us into the struggles that lie ahead, it has to be them, inshaAllah.

Please explain this to me

In the 4 minarets of Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi, which was opened for worship 86 years later, 4 muezzins read the adhan together.

So was this one off or was this normal practise when it used to be a mosque

Beautiful recitation...may all of Turkey be coloured in the colouring of Allah ta'ala
(One of the verses recited was 2.138)

صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ عَابِدُونَ
(We take our) color from Allah, and who is better than Allah at coloring. We are His worshippers.

I was wondering if all Turkish people recite so beautifully?

Salaam

We were taught it was the weapon by which a country was conquered?

In Afghanistan the Taliban used an AK47 when giving khutbah.

Hanafi Madhab on Holding Sword

Fatawa-e-Hindiyyah (Fatawa-e-Alamgiri)

ويتقلد الخطيب السيف في كل بلدة فتحت بالسيف كذا في شرح الطحاوي

The Imam (the one giving the Sermon) shall hold the Sword in his hands in every town which was opened (conquered) by Sword as stated in commentary of Imam Tahawi (RA)
