Maulana (HA) is a multi-generational Deobandi Scholar and a major British Deobandi Scholar for decades and well known. Him (and others) disagreed with Hazrat Worshippers in Britain and discussed the matter when majority of British Muslims didn't even know about it.

In his latest crusade to defend Maulana Saad (HA) he has used some harsh language against Ulama and Gujaratees (and it is regrettable) and we should condemn him for his rhetoric against Gujaratees but the Gujaratees (in Britain and India) have personally targetted him when he was raising Academic issues for the past two decades so I can see why he is doing it.

Regrettable from both sides nonetheless. The Gujaratees in both Britain and Canada get petty and personal very quickly when disagreed with.
