He can't know members are pious and he also can't know the members are not pious. Shouldn't pull him up on that statement. It's just a better way to think with Husn ad-dhann even if it applies to no one.

Online I can pretend to be a doctor or a male mufti. Copy and paste stuff. State piety in different ways. I could fool hundreds. People fool people online and offline all the time. In looks, wealth, health, piety. The list can go on. Thereâ€™s no way of differentiating between fake and genuine. You can never know.

Thatâ€™s why I find it odd that you believe most members here pious. Iâ€™m not disrespecting any members here you may all be pious but I would never call anyone pious. I think itâ€™s a very sacred word to use. I believe only Allah would truly know the true piety of a person.

Sadly I would say Iâ€™m not at a place where I do enough. I would like to do more than what I already do. Donâ€™t think I repent enough, pray enough, help others enough. I donâ€™t think anything I do is enough in any aspects of my life. I may think Iâ€™m a great person but I could be sinning in many ways knowingly and unknowingly.

A person in Saudi has the freedom to practise Islam. Btw This is just an example yet many there crave for cinemas casinos and a western lifestyle. Iâ€™ve actually seen videos of these places existing. Also the first bar opening. Anyway you know the gist of what Iâ€™m saying.

In the western world we see these things available to us. Itâ€™s no big deal. Itâ€™s not something we crave to have or feel the need to be a part of our society.

I remember one of my aunts visiting India it was her very first visit and she was very excited. First thing she said in return was the youngsters play cricket all day they donâ€™t work when they hear the azam they stop playing in respect once the Arab finishes they continue with the game. She found it strange. This is just an example btw

What Iâ€™m trying to say is no matter where in the world you are we all have access and freedom to have our one to one with Allah. Itâ€™s not an English,American,German, Pakistani or an Indian thing.

I believe our forefathers practised a lot of things that werenâ€™t islamic. The benefit of being in a western country not only gave them an education but they advanced in the learning in Islam because they entered an unknown surrounding with alien language customs and behaviours. The only thing they could relate to and through was the masjid. In fact it was this that taught them differences in Islam and customs and traditions. This benefitted our generation and the further generations because many Hindu traditions and customs are alien to us. Alhamdulillah
