Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Babar Iftikhar has said that in the smart lockdown that has been decided in the country, only these 'hotspots' have been locked down through the 'Track, Trace and Quarantine' strategy. Will go where the number of victims is high.
He said that all the technical and manpower resources of the Pakistan Army were being used during the epidemic under government orders.
The spokesman said that all reserve personnel of the Pakistan Army Medical Corps have been called on duty to enhance the country's medical capability against the corona virus.
Maj. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said, “Fortunately, the number of Corona victims in Pakistan so far is lower than estimated, but this number could reach its peak in the next two weeks and collective and individual efforts are needed to prevent this. need to.'
He said that the Pakistan Armed Forces had decided not to take internal security allowance in view of the corona virus so that the money could also be used to fight the corona virus.
He said that any member of the crew of Pakistan's national airline PIA would be confirmed to have corona virus, they would be treated in Pakistan Army hospitals on a priority basis to repatriate Pakistanis from abroad. Continue.
Yasir Qadhi had a Muslim doctor who is treating COVID 19 patients come in and speak about everything and Islamic ethics.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzndWMtKUdY (I don't really support Yasir Qadhi but thats beside the point)
What I'm seeing is the ulema and mufti are being divided into two groups - those who are speaking to doctors and public health officials publicly (Radio Islam has doctors on their show, Yasir Qadhi, etc) and those who show no evidence or substantive discussion of medical evidence let alone speaking to doctors and medical professionals publicly, like Mufti Siraj Desai...
I remember a saying of Imam Shaybani saying Imam al-Shafi'i used to spend a lot of time with dyers talking them to know their profession (they are a stinky profession), to know their ada (customary expectations) and understand their fiqh needs.
I know at least 5 Doctors personaly who are treating COVID-19 Patients, so what?
WHO is a world body consisting of multidiscplinary scientists who are looking at COVID-19 holistically and issuign guidance and this is their guidance for Ramadhan
You have psyhcological issues and (like some of the other users) against Ulama and suffer from inferiroty complex of some kind. Just because you COVID-19 measured had the wrong impact in "Malaysia" doesn't mean that they will have the same results everywhere.
EVEN if a Mosque is opened and there is a COVID-19 outbreak, it will be countered. The World (right now) is working out to ease lockdowns since these lockdowns CANNOT go on, forever...It is trial and error.
The whole world is slowly easing tensions with the condition that they will be restricted if problems occur.
At this time, Ulama are following WHO guidance and not speaking out of their back pocket.
May Allah Ta'ala reward Yasir Qadhi but his Press conference carries FAR LESS WEIGHT then the guidance of WHO.
I know that you have problems but your objections carry NO SCIENTIFIC WEIGHT. Your hysteria is founded on "fear of What if..."
So I ask you "What If???"
Pakistan (like the whole world) is planning and adapting.
If the ease of restrictions cause problems (Insha'Allah not), they will be reversed.
If the ease of restrictions do not cause problems (Insha'Allah), they will be eased further.
Let me REPEAT, the entire world is testing the limits based on their circumstances and Pakistan is no different in this regard
Ya Allah, the media, the anti muslim secular leaders are waiting to shame the Pakistani ulema. To blame the masajid for spreading Corona.
Ya Allah Masajid are open here only. Take care of them O mere Allah.
Example doesn't match the scenario at hand. Think about it when going grocery shopping Bhai Saab.
There are videos circulating of Pakistani YouTubers in Pakistans Sabzi Mandis, there are absolutely no measures of social distancing and no police enforcing anything. When it comes to the Masjids they are beating people. Yesterday we were speaking to a Moulana in Karachi he said cops were taking people out and beating them.
This thing is very real but all our masjids are closed while most other things are running. There seems to be some other motive behind this. May Allah Ta'ala elevate the rank of all the Scholars who are trying their best with such a rebellious Ummah. May Allah Ta'ala have mercy on us all.
Law is enforced on humans only. Humans visit masajid, so let us follow the law of the land.
And police are selective in beating the masjid visitors. May Allah give hidayah to these policemen. Let us try to bridge the gap between Ulema and the authorities. Testing times.
I read the fatwa a few times, and I had long comments to it I typed out...but decided against posting because its Ramadhan. In short, some of the content just don't make sense. Why is praying in the masajid the end-all and be-all? What about spreading the deen - which you cannot do if Muslims all die? What about what the Shariah says about preserving life?
In any case I figured out the reason why scholars of South Africa are against closing the masasjid: South Africa has very few deaths compared to other countries. So I think these muftis just don't see COVID-19 as that bad as other countries do. If we put the same muftis in New York City, I think they would change their mind very fast.

Habibi, la taghdaab. No need to be angry. You have a lot of ghayra of the ulema. I do too, but I have ghayra of the Muslims, above all else. Lets just leave it at that since its Ramadhan and we both have better use we can put our time to.
I don't really put much confidence in the WHO especially since we have seen news stories damaging their credibility (see false reports in January). I don't understand the 3 FEET rule in masajid - in North America we have a 6 FEET rule. I see this as a way for them to promote the deaths of Muslims.
Also, the latest news is the cases in Pakistan are increasing so...
"Saudi Arabia and UAE have eased their COVID-19 restrictions in time for Ramadan. Malls reopen, which is a huge reprieve for businesses but mosques remain shuttered. "
The above quote is from Salam gateway.
The quote below is about egypt taken from a forum where British teachers who have moved abroad discuss matters relating to teaching internationally.
"Nobody can predict August yet, but currently we have a night curfew, because you know the virus is only active at night  No social distancing whatsoever during the day and iftar tables full, as the curfew doesn't start until 9pm. Malls are back open on weekends, after a previous lockdown. The government is discussing plans to reopen domestic tourism and possibly schools after Ramadan. So, the next 2 to 3 weeks will be interesting. Nevertheless, our case count is low compared to many other countries. I reckon lack of testing and resources, but then again Egypt was praised numerous times by the WHO. Nobody really knows anymore what to believe..."
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
