MashaAllah, if there is one place on earth where there can be crowd control, then that is the house of Allah!

Let's pray to Allah that this idea spreads across the world and Ulama and governing bodies allow the Masjids to remain open.

I accept that most mosques in colder parts of the world cannot remove the carpets, but each individual could wear their masks and make sajdah on their own napkins etc.

I hope the Muslims of Pakistan remain steadfast in their actions.

The virus is not airborne and can only be caught in certain circumstances.

That is not suicide, but jumping or throwing someone into the river without experience or precaution, is suicide / murder.

It would have been better if ulema would have declared that:
obligation of visiting masjid is withheld, but whoever wants to visit masjid must follow these guidelines.

Ulema would not have argued that when imam barah, malls are open then why not masjid.
Masjid would've been closed with logic and with a purpose.

Instead of second-guessing ulema if everyone of the mosque-goers focuses on following these precautions themselves, whether others are following or not, then ultimately everyone will end up adhering to these rules.

It's not like there's total pandemonium. A lot of the big supermarkets here in Karachi have been open since the first day of lockdown and I have witnessed them myself standing in long lines, an appropriate distant apart, waiting for their turn. Of course, there are also people who blatantly disregard such rules, but if those who are following the rules take it upon themselves to shame those who aren't a lot of discipline can be achieved.

I heard this: Hazrath Umar RA was asked to withdraw the concession of Qasar for travelers, arguing that the roads are peaceful now, things have changed now. May Allah SWT reward Hazrath Umar RA, he said "When shariah has given concession, continue to use it"

Since everything is in Allah's control, what should one do in this scenario? Have tawakul and go in the masjid? Or adopt the means of not going to masjid and have tawakul?

Only Allah determines if someone becomes exposed to a contagious disease, and if he then fights it off and or he contracts it. And then it is Allah's will if the person dies or not. But in the name of tawakul we shouldn't go and hug a person that is sick with a potentially deadly disease ,or let him breathe on us.

Yes in this case we aren't quite sure who has the disease or not. But we have the examples of other countries in front of us.
