Treat non muslims equally, give them their rights, deal with them fairly.
When Hazrath umar was to deliver judgement of fight between a muslim and jew, he delivered the judgement in favor of the Jew.

Syeduna Umar RA directed the muslim murderer who killed a Christian shall be handed over to relatives of murdered person for Qasas. They killed the muslim as Qasas.
