Why do birds fly in a V formation?

Birds fly in a V formation because when they fly in this pattern, they are able to extract the maximum benefit by putting in less effort. This is because when a bird flies, the tips of both its wings create a rotating vortex. Due to this, the air right behind the bird gets pushed downwards, while the air behind this and off to the sides gets pushed upwards. This creates specific zones, known as upwash zones and downwash zones. Birds flying in these zones can continue flying by putting less efforts.

There is science behind V shaped birds flight. Also they are disciplined. The leading bird takes the maximum stress. When it gets tired, the next bird takes over and every bird in the group gets its turn periodically.

Birds travel for tens of thousands of Kms. Birds fly and circle around the earth every year.

Allah SWT has embedded Navigation and Guidance mechanism, GPS, google map, computer etc. in their body. They never fail, never err. They accurately land in their destination.

They also fly in a V shape so that they can see what's in front of them, otherwise, they would crash into each other. That's the most basic and logical reason. Anything beyond that is based on actual research and that which is mentioned in the Quran (in reference to their GPS capabilities)

To get clear visibility, They can fly parallel to each other in a single line, why V shape. Aerodynamics engineers and scientists are observing and researching this for decades.

It's from the birds and other flying creatures that man kind understood aerodynamics better.

And man claims no one created that. It was by chance....🤔
I was reading a research paper on this subject, it says, to learn from birds and implement it on flying robots. Research started 30 years back and it continues...

How insects defend themselves.

O mankind! Here is an example, so listen carefully. Those deities whom you call besides ALLAH, cannot create a single fly, even if they all combined their forces, rather, if a fly snatches away anything from them, they cannot even get it back; how feeble minded are the suppliants and how powerless are those whom they supplicate! They do not render to ALLAH the homage due to Him; in fact, ALLAH is the One Who is All-Powerful, All-Mighty. [Al-Hajj 22: 73- 74]

The researchers are shocked and yet to conclude on how does a group of birds take turn and some times swing without disturbing their V shape. The farthest bird has to do maximum acceleration to take a turn. What is the syncing mechanism. Estimated time to communicate and act is 1/80 of a second. Who is guiding them in their plan.
Allah SWT only knows.
