Sir, are you saying that darul uloom deoband is a pawn of the Indian political establishment?
Also is Zaid Hamid correct about the TTP and deobandi ulama of Pakistan (as shown in the description of the first video above)?

Read my discussions on Sunniforum from 2009 onwards (if you find them) and how Deobandees were either supportive or Silent about these Terrorists.
In 2014, after the Peshawar attacks on Children the nation of Pakistan (led by Ulama) got solidly behind the Army and took out this menace.
Zaid Hamid does have issues with Deobandees but it does not take away the fact that many "Deobandees" were misled by TTP in the beginning but then Mufti Rafi Usmani (HA) and others very clearly realised the issue and started issuing clear Fatawa about TTP.
All of this is distraction and nothing to do with India.
Many "Indian Ulama" have made serious mistakes consistently since 1947 and there are thousands of Indian Muslims who back and support these Ulama (as they rightly should on principle). HOWEVER, the tide is turning and Indian Muslims are beginning to realise the issue.
What happened in Darul-uloom Deoband a few days ago was:
But the students "dared" to question the Ulama on their policies and politics. That has NOT happened in India and DOES NOT happen among Deobandees so to take attention away from the issues, people who back these Ulama will label these students (and Ulama) as disrespectful, discourteous etc but that is not what happened.
In Indian subcontinent, they were and always be 2 Nations:
Indian Ulama have negated this 2 nation theory since 1930s, they FORCED Indian Muslims to reject Muslims and align with Non-Muslims and there will be consequences from Allah Ta'ala for that.
The actions of BJP and Modi/Shah combo has put paid to this argument forever, watch the video on what happened to Jamiat Ulama-Hind Ulama in Delhi yesterday at the hands of Hindus and their plea for support.
After studying this issue deeply and dispassionately for decades, speaking to Indian Ulama and Indian Muslims, I (unlike Pakistani Nationals) DOES NOT believe that:
I believe that they have made mistakes in judgement. I find Indian (Ulama and Muslims) to be pious, sincere and authentic.
This is a "political issue" and not an issue of Aqeedah. Muslims DO have the right to question Ulama on their political affiliations, NO WHERE in the Qu'raan and Sunnah is this prohibited at all.
Just like Rahul Gandhi is a dynastic politician, so are the Madani clan, Shahi Imam and many of these characters...no difference.
There is an urgent need for new leaders to lead Indian Muslims in this dire situation, there is no requirement for these leaders to be "Ulama", this isn't a lesson of Saheeh Bukhari.
If the next (Muslim) leader is an "Alim", Alhumdolillah it will be a blessing but if he is not...it does not matter as long as he is sincere to Islam and Muslims.
The writing is on the wall for Indian Muslims, they all know deep in their hearts what needs to be done. They never had and do not have a future in Hindu dominated India. They may be safe in South India or some specific locations but their destiny in India is OVER as long as it is Hindu dominated. Since 1947, the Ulama have given a false narrative to common Indian Muslims which their daily experience does not confirm. You can live, work, study in India and all Indian Muslims know VERY WELL what its like to live as second-class citizens.
The "Ulama" made them choose to be second-class citizens.
Muslims in Kashmir have been tortured and brutalised for nearly 70 years. The "Ulama" made Indian Muslims oblivious to the suffering of millions and now the fire has reached near the homes of Indian Muslims and it is no longer in Kashmir.
My own Grandfather did not leave India and we have nobody apart from one uncle in Pakistan, they are all in India. It is the choice my Grandfather made
10 years ago, I had to try to make Indian Muslims understand what the future holds for them, TODAY they can see it with their own eyes and experience it for themselves, it is no longer a dream, its a nightmare.
Pakistani people have lived through hell and lost over 71,000 lives in the war on Terror to clearly see whom to trust. The trust in "Deobandi political Ulama" like Maulana Fazlur-Rahman Saheb (HA) is gone apart from few diehard villages and corners. Deobandi political Islam in Pakistan is gone!
You have hardcore Deobandees on this forum who NEITHER defend NOR support Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam and they say it openly.
I wonder how many lives Indian Muslims will lose before they come to the same conclusion?
The positive aspect in Pakistan is that Pakistanees have Mufti Taqi Usmani (HA) and Karachi Ulama who command a lot of respect and Pakistani Deobandees dished "political Deobandism" but remained largely loyal to "Deobandism".
In India a few days ago is the first time, I noticed Darul-uloom Deoband breaking away from Jamiat and this has never happened in 70 years. B-U-T Ulama of Darul-uloom Deoband are too old and too ineffective to create a counter movement.
What I fear is when Indian Muslims begin to reject their "political Ulama" they will start rejecting "Deobandi Islam".
I genuinely sympathise and see the fears of this brother "saaad" and "Rajab" but I fear that time has left them by and it is too late.

This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
