Apparently Pakistan got paid $5 Billion US Dollars NOT to rock the boat and form an alternative body to OIC to represent the views of Islam & Muslims.

Pakistan is pivotal to the Arabs so they paid, Pakistan ditched Kashmir in a heartbeat.

Kashmir was ditched by IK and Bajwa long before, as part of the ‘mediation’ process. All the speeches etc were only a drama for public consumption...

If Pakistani’s thought, it will ‘end’ the conflicts with India, that there will be mutual peace and economic prosperity, they were wrong !

India will now go for ‘Azad Kashmir’.

They will stop at nothing short of total domination when they have smelled the blood..

Leaders call for use of alternative currency among Muslim countries against US Dollar

Instead of doing trade using foreign currency, we would like to trade with our own national currencies, says Erdogan.

Iran's President Rouhani was of the view that Muslim nations should come up with its own cryptocurrency.

There were suggestions that Saddam Hussain wanted to stop trading in Dollars and was therefore targeted by the Americans.

I'm not so sure. Many Pakistanis are defending IK backstabbing them sayin he had no choice. If he had gone Saudi would have asked for their money back and expelled the 4m paks working in Saudi. Even if this is true IK chose money other morals. Money is more important than helping kashmir ughirs rohingas to him

Saudi Arabia has pressurised Pakistan

www.dailysabah.com/diplomacy/2019/12/20/cooperation-with-...

Quote:
Unfortunately, we see that Saudi Arabia pressures Pakistan. Now, there are promises that the country has given to Pakistan regarding the central bank. However, more than that, there are 4 million Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia. They (threaten by saying that they) would send (Pakistanis) back and re-employ Bangladeshi people instead," Erdoğan said, adding that the kingdom has also used similar threatening tactics regarding the central bank case by claiming that they would withdraw their money. According to Erdoğan, due to its economic difficulties, Pakistan had to obey such threats, while implying that Indonesia has also suffered from similar problems.

So the Tyrant Prince of Saudi Arabia and his gulf allies.Threatened to destroy the Pakistani.Economy. And expel 4 Million Pakistani workers.

But he cant use the same hardball tactics, on India, China, Burma, Israel. Or any other country that is commiting genocide and oppression against muslims... May Allah destroy and humiliate such tyrannical rulers. ...Instead these tyrants make huge investments in those countries and reward the oppressors with honorary awards.

Nothing Pakistan can do here and it is not economically strong enough to make a stand...! Beggars cant be choosers.

Entire population of Pakistan would hugely suffer, resulting in public discord and backlash, .. , once the price of even the most basic necesseties goes up.

The ultimatum was clear either you take ourside or we will starve you death.

La Hawla Wala Quwwatah Illah Billah.

Absolutely right and agreed that Pakistan with its economy and corruption are beggars and Saudi Arabia put their foot down and Imran Khan buckled, its a fact.

However, the deed was done so why is the Foreign Minister in Pakistan?

Maybe cus the Saudis have used the stick...and the Foreign Minister. Is there to pat IK on the head and tell him since he has been a good boy and he can have some (mouldy) carrots.

First the stick and then the carrot.

The problem is also that Pakistani people are also beghairat in many ways unfortunately.

If IK had said no to saudis, then when the financial crisis will hit Pakistani and when millions would return back jobless and the rising prices etc, the deobandees ( who romantically talk about taliban) would start cursing IK for destroying pakistanis by standing up to saudis ( hypothetically speaking).

Deobandees and pakistanis are very sensitive when it comes to money. Their akabireen were something else, but the current reality is something else.

Didn’t we heard screams already from them when prices just went up recently. Imagine the crying if IK would have thrown the economy under the bus.

Also i question the summit at KL from one angle. Turkey and Iran are standing together at this point, but what about the atrocities Iran is committing in Syria, who is going to hold IRan accountable? Iran has blood of sunnis on his hand, who is going to get that squared.

I am very skeptical of all these politically motivated games. Some things sound too good to be true. Allah knows best.

Pakistan is economically weak and dependent on others, so it has to tread carefully in foreign policy issues. In retrospect Saudi reaction, though unwelcome, is not unpredictable. Why then the government of Imran khan and its foreign office remained unaware of the consequences ? Why did it make international commitments which it could not keep ? Why it subjected the country to such a humiliation ?

It was obvious from day 1 that when Iran, Turkey and Qatar is on one side, Saudi Arabia and gulf Arab states would be on the other side of the divide. It is very unfortunate but it is a reality on the ground. Pakistan could have easily steered away from this diplomatic embarrassment...

It was also obvious that an Islamic TV channel though a ‘brilliant’ idea, is not doable, and is not going to succeed, simply because some countries would not allow its transmissions, still IK proudly announced Pakistan to be part of the project ?

I wonder, if it is simply lack of understanding of international politics, lack of interest in state affairs or a conspiracy ‘within’ against the IK government. Whatever the reason, it did put Pakistan into an embarrassing situation...
