"Our scholars and pious predecessors have noted that every disobedience of Allah�ta'ala carries within itself the taint of kufr (disbelief) to some degree. This is why one who is constantly involved in sins is considered to be endangering his imān.

A flagrant sinner will be disinclined to repent, and may eventually land himself in destruction by beginning to question faith, and eventually denounce faith in Allah�ta'ala altogether (may Allah�ta'ala protect us)."

THE WORLDLY HARMS OF SINNING

- Trembling and shuddering at the mention of Allah سبحانه وتعالى

- Feeling uneasy in the presence of pious people.

- Loses purity of heart.

- Feels weakness of the heart and at times weakness of the entire body.

- Deprived of the capability to repent.

- His/her immorality affects other people, thereby he/she is cursed by them.

- Intellect becomes weak.

- Loses self respect and modesty.

- The greatness of Allah سبحانه وتعالى leaves the heart.

- The Shayateen are deputed over him/her.

- Heart is always in turmoil.

- Person is unable to recite the kalimah the time of death.

- Despairs of the Mercy of Allah سبحانه وتعالى and because of this despair, dies without having repented.
