Should we unite on falsehood or be disunited but be on Haq?

Ulama from various mosques left their local masjid, abandoned their locality, disunited from their masjid and united with a different masjid.

They united on Haq!

Your views and opinions please.

I think it was to do with following Saudi and why he kept the first fast with Saudi in the mosque he was residing in. From what I understood, he kept that as a Nafil fast and I guess he was hoping Saudi would complete correctly too, but that didn't happen and this the incident.

Was this video from this week? I've heard there is disagreement everytime Mufti Saab comes and Eid is done on different days.

I've seen/heard other lectures on such incidents in the past too.

Surah Baqarah verse 189 (first half)
They ask you about the new moons. Say: They are indicative of time for the people, and of the Hajj.

Mufti Saeed Ahmed Palanpuri explains this verse in which Allah categorically doesn't use description of the new moon (Hilal)! Instead, Allah in His infinite wisdom uses the word New Moons! i.e. different moon sightings for different areas!

یَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَکَ عَنِ الۡاَہِلَّۃِ ؕ قُلۡ ہِیَ مَوَاقِیۡتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَ الۡحَجِّ ؕ ا
