@Muadh Khan:

Quote:
I am not backbiting, I am stating facts about the fanatic Hazrat Worshipper.

Stating facts is backbiting, else it's 'Buhtan'

I don't think if anybody here is hazrat worshipper. It's only in your mind.

Leave dajjal aside, what about these people themselves? What are they? Are they misguided themselves? Why are they misguiding others? Are the doing Allah's work or shataans work?

You mean it's mufti sahab....
Misguided himself, misguiding others and working for shytan....?

I think you are a highly pious person.

this is what i cant stand about deos. when its one of their own they wna play the husn ul zann game but when its salafis brealwis or others they take it at face value. same people who point at fools like abu khadeejah or sadais now want to defend this guy. unless he lives under a rock i think every sane person knows about mbs and khasoggi. he knows about mbs's entourage yet he doesnt know his crimes? who u kidding. just accept he has made a huge error and should come out and backtrack. clown prince is an open zio dog. sooner he dies the better.

Whether or not money is involved I think it would be best to avoid making assumptions about whatever Mufti sahab's intentions are until we have solid evidence either way. We owe that much to him as fellow Muslims.

What about people like myself who don't know anything about the mufti. To people like me this mufti is just another name. Seriuosly I just googled him to find out a bit more about him. Up until now to me he was just a name I have come across on this forum. I have never listened to anything he has said due to language differences. Do we owe anything to him? We are going to take his words at face value just like we would do with any other person we don't know. Should we have to go and research the background, affiliations, piety, truthfulness etc of each and every mufti that says something in order to try and read between the lines and to try and find some sort of justification of his words? To me he is just another person in a sea of people who has said something that on face value is at best absolutely laughable and at its worst is dangerous and misguidance.

Have you brothers heard his views on eating strawberry? He holds several odd and bizarre opinions and differs with the majority of scholars. So this is not the first time we are hearing something strange coming from him. That's why I believe it is similar to all those cases where he genuinely disagrees with other Muftis and it is not because he has sold himself to Saudia.

PS. I'm not denying he is wrong. I'm just against the accusations.

there is big difference having odd opinions on such issues and that of praising a zaalim. would u make excuses if someone praised bashar or abu jahl? would u accept ignorance as an excuse? if he has made honest mistake he has to openly backtrack his statements

I fully agree here. Once again let me make it clear that I'm not defending Mufti Sahab and what he has said is absolutely wrong and ridiculous. In my original post I only said this and I stand by it:

We can agree to disagree, it's ok. It's obviously your choice to say whatever you want, I was just making a suggestion.

If you have a problem with me then open a thread and come out and discuss it like a man, rather than resorting to childish remarks. If you are not grown up enough to sensibly take part in a discussion forum and engage with people who may have a different opinion than yourself then this is not the place for you. If that is the case then you are better off surrounding yourself with people who think like yourself and stay within your comfort zone.

I had posted this about Shaikh Sudais previously on this forum and it can also be applied in this case. The couplet is more harsh than the comments made in this thread but it is not based on assumption.
