Yes brother, however I think the techniques they use differ from student to student.
I think they are effective but you may not like some of the techniques they use. One student said he would need a picture of the person who we think is afflicted. (My logic- if a person can do sihr using a picture, why cant a picture be used identify of sihr is done - main thing is trust) we didn't do it with this person, however I was confident they would be helpful. They use vision techniques and you may see the person who is doing sihr on you, this however could cause more problems. I think it may be better not to know who has done the sihr.
There are some very good, balanced and devoted tablighi brothers in Leicester who are affiliated to a qadiri shaikh from malaysia. I heard they are very successful mashaallah, they use zikr of qadiri silsila. They are mainly based around jamea masjid near the islamic establishment.
There is also a Maulana in Leicester who goes to baitul ilm. I forgot his name, he's an old man. A shaikh of tasawuff as well.
