Salaam.

Multiple reports coming in that panjshir has fallen and massoud and amrullah have fled. Could be fake news, but the sources are usually reliable.

Long one ya akhi. I have started listening to it. I like the discussion because the first question is what has Islam got to do with it.

Jazakallah for sharing this discussion program.

The speakers have shed light on many key issues.

(1) The Taliban are currently focused only on Afghanistan. They have been forced by globalization to accept inclusiveness, modernity, women's education.
(2) The people of Afghanistan include the communist influenced elite and the cultural Islam commoners. These groups do not see Islam and Shariah as being good for them. The Taliban will need to reach out to them and convince them that Islam is good for them.
(3) The Taliban do not have access to skilled manpower (doctors, engineers, economists, industrialists) to help them with nation building.
(4) The Taliban will need to reach out to Muslim scholars and intellectuals globally so that their movement can be seen as a movement for Islam, and not just a movement for Afghanistan, as it is currently being projected.
(5) The Taliban are a product of the Dars e Nizami, and this curriculum is of no use to someone who is expected to govern a nation.
(6) Khilafah is Islam beyond taharah and salah. It is the social, economic, political structure of a nation in light of Islam. Khilafah cannot be confined by borders.
(7) There are millions of skilled and educated Muslims in Europe, America, Australia, and all around the world who are more than willing to relocate to another country if it means they will be working for Islam. These are people who are not interested in making money. They just want their basic needs met, and have a sense of security, and they will devote their energies to help Islam grow.
(8) Traditional Islamic universities and Darul Ulooms do not teach history. Also, the ulama are not taught how to understand the world around them in light of the Quran. For example, when a person reads Surah Lahab, he should be able to identify the Abu Lahab of his generation. A person should be able to relate verses the Quran to what is happening in the world today and receive guidance on how to proceed.
(9) The state of Islam when it was born at the time of the Prophet SAW was globalized. The migration to Abyssinia was part of globalizing Islam. Musab bin Umair's RA time in Madinah before the arrival of the Prophet SAW was a part of globalizing Islam.
(10) Israel and India are going to come together and exert influence on Afghanistan, because the Quran says the Jews and the polytheists will be the most harsh against Muslims.
(11) America has only given up physical presence in Afghanistan. It still has immense influence on Afghanistan politically through Pakistan, and economically through the 9 billion dollars of frozen Afghan assets.
(12) Enemies will use the Taliban to spread Islamophobia, because history repeats itself. If the Taliban can maintain peace and security in Afghanistan, it will be a big win for them on the international stage.
(13) We are at a critical time in history, with old empires ready to fall, and so a new push for Khilafah should be made by Muslims all around the world.
(14) Give Afghanistan time to sort things out, and hold the bouquets and the brickbats for now.
(15) This world is temporary, so we should rise and work towards securing our place in the hereafter.

Now it has fallen and the war is over الحمد لله

The Taliban has taken complete control of Panjshir province, the last area in Afghanistan held by resistance forces, the group’s spokesman said on Monday, as it cemented its control of the country three weeks after taking over Kabul.

The Panjshir Valley is famed for being the site of resistance to Soviet forces in the 1980s and the Taliban in the late 90s.

Several Taliban delegations attempted negotiations with the resistance forces, but talks failed to gain traction.

Earlier on Monday, the NRF acknowledged suffering considerable battlefield losses and called for a ceasefire, as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken flew to Qatar to try and handle the chaotic aftermath of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The war maybe over but low intensity insurgency from ISKP will remain and expect some hit and run attacks. some former army and security officers may also join them.

So Taliban seem to be facing insurmountable obstacles. In trying to establish a government and peace and security in the country.

As has been the case in other countries. The west and their intelligence services will most likely already have members of Afghan Media/Press and all stratas of civil services. And police plus local Afghan charities on their payroll. Helping to undermine efforts on every front.

On top the So-called resistance led by Ahmed Massoud and Amrullah Saleh have been openly aligning themselves with fiercely anti-Islamic governments of Narendra Modi and Macron of France.
How can anyone who is begging Modi and Macron for assistance be seriously considered to have loyalty to Islam or Afghanistan.

They most likely both will flee..Saleh and his supporters as far as propaganda goes are way more active on Social Media have been well trained by C.I.A. . The gist of propaganda being.

"The Talibans are enemies of Afghanistan and agents of Pakistan."

"The Taliban are barbarians and enemies of humanity"

"The Taliban are re-inforced by mercenaries from Pakistani Punjab and Pakistani intelligence."

"The Taliban have ISIS-K fighting amongst their ranks ISIS-and Taliban are same thing".

"No compromise in freedom for Afghanistan."

"Taliban are using locals in Panjshir valley as Human Shields"

"Taliban are kidnapping women"

"Taliban are the biggest enemies of women in the planet."

Note also that during the reigns of both Hamid Karzai and Ashraf Ghani the Afghan media in association with the C.I.A. psychological operations unit. Have sought to demonise Pakistan. And blamed all of Afghanistans woes over the last 40 years. On Pakistan. And paint India as a benevolent friend and well wisher of Afghans.

The American strategy was to marginalise and sideline Pakistan and give India greater sway in the country.

There has been such relentless propaganda that an entire generation amongst the Afghans has grown up who despise Pakistanis..Love India and Love the BJP.

If any one is interested on this Saleh characters background just put the following in google search.

" Amrullah Saleh Indian Connection."

You will get loads of articles from India media itself. Everything from Saleh being a liason in acquiring arms and aid from India to fight the Taliban during their first reign. To him openly being a C.I.A. agent.

"..Women do not live in Kabul only! In the countryside of Afghanistan, the endless killing of civilians turned Afghan women against the occupying American forces who claimed to be helping them..."

An interesting and well written article by the New Yorker magazine. (Encompassing life in rural Afghanistan ). The author has atleast made an attempt to offer a slightly different narrative to the mainstream propaganda. The article is a very long but certainly worthy of being read despite some flaws.

In politics, there are no permanent friends or permanent enemies. All nations act in their own self interest. Human rights, women's liberation, establishing democracy are all just pretenses for furthering national self interests.

The propaganda against Pakistan by the US/India (allies in the Quad) is to counterbalance the Chinese influence in the area, because Pakistan has close ties with China. The US have secured the Turkmenistan/Afghanistan/Pakistan/India gas pipeline project, and have made a deal with the Taliban for security and stability in the region so that their project is protected. China, however, is eyeing the mineral deposits in Afghanistan, so is open to maintaining good relations with Afghanistan. This is why Afghanistan is again about to be caught in another great game, this time between the US and China. It is in both nation's self interests to allow the Taliban to control Afghanistan. The US, however, will likely support low intensity unrest in Afghanistan through ISKP and other similar entities, so that they can have the leverage to play both sides when required.
