Some saying it’s cocroaches. We’ve been in madinah munawara when there was a swarm of crickets and it didn’t look like what the videos are showing. Pretty amazing stuff. Another year we saw swarm of moths. Not really experienced it in Makkah although seen the occasional rat.
I’m sure it’s something to do with climate change and not some sort of phenomenon. Although there is always a lesson for us in every part of our lives. Allah knows best.
