I have seen you post for years.

How many people have complained about the harshness of your tone over the last two decades?

Simple issue is this, we don't know the people posting, we don't know where they are in their life. We don't know what struggle they are going through. They could be struggling with their deen.

What happens if they leave the forum because they where treated or spoken to harshly...

If they are strong on their Deen they maybe just move on.

If they are struggling or going through doubts they might end up turning away from Islam altogether.

On the issue, life is simple and binary:

  1. All humans make mistakes
  2. When a mistake is made, apologize, seek forgiveness from the person and Allah Ta'ala
  3. Learn from the mistake


There is no room for haughty, arrogant, thick skinned, demonic behavior where a person has the capability of an ant but ego of Mount Everest.

If you want to keep making excuses for deliberate demonic behavior belittling Islam and Muslims, you have the right to do so, just as I have he right not to.

Person 1 Scenario:

  1. Abdur Rahman ibn Awf wrote an Autobiography
  2. Abdur Rahman ibn Awf himself wrote about himself that he was 2-3 years old when he left Makkah
  3. Abdur Rahman ibn Awf himself wrote about himself that he studied at home and never went to a formal Institution


Person 2 Scenario:

  1. Muadh Khan wrote a book about Abdur Rahman ibn Awf
  2. Muadh Khan quotes abu mohammed that Abdur Rahman ibn Awf learned from major reciters of Haram and graduated from Institutions


Person 2 repeatedly tells Person 1 that a personal autobiography takes precedence over 3rd party Account, repeatedly asking "Do you understand?" "Is this clear?" "Ask me to clarify"

And THEN Person 2 becomes harsh.

Someone on the forum, totally ignores the context despite repeated references, refuses to respond and just gives one-way advice to not be harsh!

NOT...

  • Advice to Person 1: You are contradicting a person's own words about himself
  • Advice to Person 2: You should not be harsh


EVEN in the reverse order:

  • Advice to Person 2: You should not be harsh
  • Advice to Person 1: You are contradicting a person's own words about himself


But just...you should not be harsh!

This behavior is not Sunnah method to advise people...
